Implement feels neat and solid. The arms do not bend but stay straight from the smallest almond to the biggest walnut. The spring is an added nice touch. The rivet looks heavy enough and if, by mischance, it were to beak, I could always drill it out. It has, however, a guarantee so it is quite unlikely to break in the next few months.

Cracked a Walnut a Brazil nut then broke trying to crack an almond. expect more than two nuts as packet says 5 year guarantee. The metal appears to be strong enough but the centre pin failed.Asked by amazon to return for refund, but return postage cost not worth it, put it down to experience.

Broke with the first nut junk don't bother

Needed for Christmas nut cracking... These did exactly what they said they'd do.... Nutcracker crack nuts!!

It worked okay for a while, but as I was trying to crack an almond, one of the arms broke apart. Not my idea of value for money. Won'the be buying these again. Not recommended.
