I use hyaluronic acid regularly and this is my first time using hyaluronic acid combined with an oil. This is also my first time trying this brand. The vial arrived well packaged and without leaks or damage. It is made of glass and feels substantially heavy/luxurious in the hand. The product is dispensed via a dropper. It is 1.01fl oz in size. There is no fragrance. When the product is shaken, the little blue oily bubbles are dispersed throughout the clear liquid. This product combines the benefits of hyaluronic acid with facial oil - and I feel like my skin is more plump/hydrated and glassy. I typically use hyaluronic acid on wet skin and follow with something thicker but I feel like this product combines these 2 steps into 1. The finish of the product is velvety smooth - not sticky. As a final point, I experienced no pilling, irritation or breakouts using this product. 5 stars.

This stuff is SO pretty. I know that's not the point, but the beautiful blue bubbles floating at the top really make this a gorgeous addition to your skincare shelf.This has no smell that I can work out, which is great, because I'm really sensitive to perfumes. I docked it one star, because it feels a bit tacky on the skin. I don't really like that feeling, and I think with a product like this, that really isn't the most desirable result.

This is a great serum, without any stickiness or adverse reactions. I did a skin test prior to using, just to make sure. It comes in a glass bottle, and needs to be shook prior to use. It's kind of fun to watch it mix together, but I have to be honest on the shaking part. I have bad wrists, and the glass bottle adds a bit more weight than I would prefer. One thing that I have noted and have found no explantion for: why are all serums in glass bottles? Does plastic react with the acids in them? Just a thought coming from someone (shall remain nameless) that dropped a small glass bottle on the edge of a newly installed ceramic sink top and broke a chuck out of the edge of the sink. When I ordered, the price was about $33 for the bottle. Would I order again? Probably not, since I have another serum that I like just as well and it's about half the price for the same amount 1 oz.

This is a good formula for my mature skin, which tends toward dryness & redness. Hyaluronic acid on its own is very hydrating, but in my experience it tends to leave a sticky residue. Not so this formula, which includes jojoba oil and various plant extracts. Note that you do have to give the ampoule a good shake to homogenize before applying the formula - easy to tell when you've shaken it enough because the bright blue layer of oil on top (colored by plant extracts) is fully dispersed to create a uniformly blue liquid. Only a few drops are required. I apply it after cleansing (while my face is still a little moist to help lock in the moisture, since HA is hydrophilic & oil is hydrophobic), then allow it to settle in for a few minutes before applying a layer of moisturizer on top. It smooths on easily and leaves neither a sticky nor an oily residue.

Oils and moisturizers are not normally in the same serum because they don’t homogenize well, if at all. But this product combines them together in a bottle that must be shaken before application. They are “color coded” in a cute, squat 1.o1 oz bottle--layered oil and water based; blue and clear.Jojoba and hyaluronic acid have the same mission—to keep the skin hydrated. They do it differently but work synergistically in this product. The jojoba seals in the HA hydrator that plumps the skin; jojoba protects the outer layer of the skin. There is more HA in this product than jojoba— the right proportions in my opinion.Because hyaluronic acid and jojoba oil are both gentle and my sensitive skin never reacts to either of them in skincare products, I use them both frequently. Having them both in one bottle makes my skincare regimen simpler.This combination product is not heavy or greasy feeling. After a week of use, morning and night, I am liking it a lot. I am using less moisturizer, as well since the jojoba handles much of that job.

I love this not only because of the cool blue color, but it works too. When I put it on my cleansed face, I feel like it works as described in the listing. It's supposed to hydrate several layers of the skin, and keep the skin's barrier in place all day. It's a little tacky when you first apply, but that's how I kind of assume that it's working. Eventually it sinks in so I don't worry about my face being sticky all day. My skin does feel plumper, and the fine lines are less visible. I feel that this product can help me to push back the date of my upcoming wrinkles, and look youthful for just a little while longer. But for now, I'm happy with the short term results and recommend that people give this Crystal Drop Hydra Booster Ampoule a try.

This ampoule is different than many I have tried, and extra cool in that it’s a HA serum AND a facial oil in one. The bottle itself arrived as a clear serum, with electric blue at the top. To use it, you must shake the product to blend the two together.I tested it out on just one cheek first, and over the next few hours could really both see and feel a difference. My skin was moist and plump. It stayed moisturized in that nice, non-evaporating way only oil based products do, but was not greasy at all. It’s also calming, and not irritating.Using it another time before applying makeup made my foundation and powder go on extra smoothly. This is an excellent choice if you’re looking for an ampoule that has hyaluronic acid and extra hydrating oils all in one formula. It really is like two products in one!
