I see that I am not the only one who had this problem. It shows low battery, even after changing the batteries. I have been using it for 4 weeks. Please somehow resolve this issue, since this is a manufacturing defect.Update: Replaced with a working device. It is always nice to see when they care about customers, thank you!

Good product and works very well, but the labels and indicators on the face of the device are fairly confusing and not intuitive at all. The instructions don't provide much more guidance as to what you're seeing. Thankfully, in the age of AI, you can use ChatGPT to help identify the labels and the correct procedures to use the device.I bought this primarily for testing my car's electrical system. From a YouTube clip, I found out that you have to test the charge of the battery using the 20V DC mode on the multimeter. But there's no indication of 20V or DC on the face of this multimeter.Enter ChatGPT. I snapped a picture of the device and told it what I wanted to do. It told me that I had to switch to the 20 on the V⎓ symbol side (DC). It also told me how to apply the cables and what to look out for as I tested.Long story short: This is a good device, and can be used like an expert with a little help.

A nice device for the home owner, or as my case as a renter renter. Just checking a remote control battery makes the thing worthwhile. When I was a tech for a movie theatre chain I had one of these things (from Radio Shack!) it got me out of more problems. I think people should have such a device handy.

I bought this multimeter for my father, and it’s been a fantastic purchase. The price was very reasonable, and it works exactly as expected—accurate, reliable, and easy to use. My father recently used it to fix some of my kitchen electronics, and it handled the job perfectly.Absolutely nothing to complain about here. It does what it’s supposed to do and does it well. I give this multimeter five stars because it delivers excellent value for the money, not because it is the best meter on the market. I compared readings to a higher-end meter I keep in my home shop, and it is very close. I bought this one to use when something electrical happens unexpectedly while traveling in my motorhome. My needs are simple and this meter meets those needs simply and accurately. My only beef is that the "instructions" that come with it as mostly useless for someone not already versed in how to use a multimeter.

Purchased this to test my battery and alternator. Super easy to set up. Easy to test the battery. Helped me find out I had a dead battery. Now I can keep it incase my battery or alternator go bad again.

For the price, this AstroAI multimeter does a decent job for basic measurements around the house or on a car battery. It comes with the test leads and battery, and the backlit screen is a nice touch for working in dim areas. The continuity function also works well enough for quick checks.That said, it's not without issues. The build quality feels a little flimsy, especially the selector dial which feels loose and imprecise. The manual range selection is fine once you get used to it, but it’s easy to misplace the dial and get no reading if you’re not careful. It also struggles with low AC voltage readings and isn’t ideal for more sensitive or high-precision tasks.
