Daler-Rowney System3 Linen Texture 230gsm A2 Acrylic Paper Pad, Glued 1 Side, 20 White Sheets, Ideal for Professional Artists & Students

Following reading several reviews about the System 3 acrylic paper I bought the A2 size.My first attempt with the paper was to lay down a solid almost heavy wash of acrylic paint all over a sheet which I had removed from the pad and taped on all four sides to a drawing boardInitially there was a series of quite large bubbles in the surface but after leaving to dry, dried completely flat and then provided a surface that allowed several layers of paint without bleed through from the previous dry layer. In places I must have laid down seven or maybe eight layers on top of each other without any noticeable issues.The texture of the surface is raised but not that erasing doesn’t clean the whole sheet. Apart from that initial problem with the bubbles, I slowed myself down and ended up satisfied with the resulting painting.For the first time trying this paper I can see why it is becoming a popular surface for acrylic painting unlike a lot of others that claim to be made for this medium this pad definitely has been. I will be purchasing the other sizes A3, A4 and more A2 when required it’s a little pricier than some of its competitors but it’s proved itself whereas I have multiple brands of the so called acrylic paper that I tried and will not be going back to Recommend

This is different product to the one in the photo (at least it is at the time of me writing this review).You should go off what it says in the title and description rather than the photo - this is A2 paper.. not A4!I use this paper for my heavy acrylic-based paintings. I really like the texture, it has a rough feel to one-side and a smooth feel to the other. You also wouldn't want it any thicker than this it's grand.

Quality of paper is good

Good surface for either brush or palette knife

This paper is meant for acrylic painting, but I use it for charcoal drawing. I love the effect that the texture in the paper adds to my drawings.
