A huge variety of fun activities
Our little ones are always interested in activity sets and since they're starting to get a little older now, they're a lot more interested in science and more engaging toys. I thought a set like this would be great since it has a variety of different things to do whilst teaching them as well. There is a lot that comes with this set that it's hard to even remember all of them, but I'd say that some of the main stand-outs were the volcano that you can add ingredients in to make it foam out - also a snow one too. There's a small manual generator where you move the wheel to power a light which they found fascinating.I like that there's a lot of ingredient mixing to create all sorts of fun mixtures - which makes you feel a bit like an alchemist! It even has an excavation kit where you dig for gemstones which is a favourite of our son. It's taken us a long time to get through many of these due to how much variety there is - it's kept the kids busy and made for some very fun evenings. I'd say that this kit focuses a lot more on a disposable variety instead of a singular involved activity or focus, which can be a good thing to pique the interest and see what part resonates the most with your kids. In our case, we realize that they love the electricity and excavation activities in particular. And I like pretending to be an alchemist! All in all, it's a great activity set and I'm happy with it.

Well packaged and intriguing science set
Bought as Xmas gift for 9yr old grandaughter. Not opened yet but looks quality and is quite weighty.

Mixed feelings about this. It’s decent value but limited and repeats a lot of things
I never thought there really would be that many unique experiments but in their anxiety to have a bigger number than the next guy the suppliers of these kits get very imaginative. What they call an experiment would not have passed for one when I was at school (OK that was 50 years ago!). There are a few experiments that will keep my grandson entertained, mostly involving vinegar and bicarbonate of soda. Which by the way you need to provide. The instructions do add to the entertainment value. I’m not sure who checked them but there are several glaring errors with totally the wrong instructions for the experiment.I suppose for the money it’s OK value as it’s pretty cheap but I would have appreciated less experiments with better quality equipment and sone genuine learning opportunities to help with my grandsons home schooling. I’ll keep looking for something better but will carry on with this for now.
