This specific order was for a housewarming gift for a friend. However, I have had one hanging in my home for years. I LOVE this tapestry! The string which holds it up is strong, but not obnoxiously thick. You can read for yourself the wisdom written on each line of this item. No question - buy this product! I do have to say that I found it to be slightly less expensive on another (un-named) site, but having Prime meant that it wound up being a better deal here.

‘Home Rules’ is a good wall hanging to have in our home as a ‘gentle reminder’ of what’s really important with our family, friends, neighbors & acquaintances. Our son asked where we got it as he wanted one for their home!...we bought them one!

I have a family friend that had this hanging in her home and I would always stop to read it. I love all the 'rules' and think it's a good reminder for everyone to live by. I gave this recently as a part of a housewarming gift basket and it hangs in their home now, right near the entry way.

I am a little bit disappointed that the item isn't exactly as pictured. The top is wrapped around the back for hanging leaving nearly no space at the top (see pic). The ribbon used is also kind of cheesy and cheap looking-not nice/decorative ribbon.
