Lost Moon

The thing I love the most about Dana Davis's writing is that she paints pictures with her words. In "Lost Moon," the world and the people come alive. You find yourself sucked into its world and happy to be there. I could not put the book down, I so wanted to know what was going to happen next. I couldn't recommend a book more highly. I don't want to say to much for fear of giving plot points away. The female characters are very real and can hold their own against the males, which is how I imagine the world would have to be. The life in that world and its rules are all explained and revealed naturally and are weaved comfortably into the journey the Trine, the main characters and heroes of the book, take while completing their quest. The plot is complex, just as are the characters. Give it a read; it's definitely worth your time. You'll fall in love with it, just as I did.

This book is a very welcome and entertaining diversion. The characters and story elements are well developed and insightful. The author kept me engaged and well directed so I didn't loose the plot and scramble to find a previous name or location just to figure out what was going on in the moment. To be clear, there is enough complexity in the journey and interactions that it is not a 'light read' and the internal discoveries are in good balance to the action. There is plenty adventure and surprise but, to be blunt, ... I was looking for a book to take my mind off real life without stressing me out. This one did it very well.

Loved this book.lots of twist and turns.Kind of lost me but soon I saw how it tied it together.If you love magic you will love this book.

Excellent story telling. Held my interest. Glad I found this author this is the second book the first was a trilogy.

Everything I’ve read by Dana Davis has been great. This is no exception!
