Netter's Anatomy Coloring Book Updated Edition (Netter Basic Science): 9780323545037: Medicine & Health Science Books @ desertcart.com Review: Great! - I am a nursing student and I love this. It’s great for studying and learning anatomy. The paper quality is good for colored pencils, ok for markers. I used Staedtler triplus fineliner (yes I spelled them correctly) markers on a page and it was a few steps away from bleeding through, so I only use them for dotted things (such as ribosomes) and they worked great. The only thing although this is more on the colored pencils I was using; Prismacolor premier. They are a higher quality pencil with a very high pigment to wax ratio, and when going over some of the more detailed portions of the pages it can mute / make it more difficult to see the printed details. So I recommend using a pencil brand with a higher wax ratio such as crayola. Again not really important, but something to note. This book is also great for covering the one page with the labels and quizzing yourself, some books I’ve had previously have the labels on the same page which makes it much harder to do so. There are also review questions at the back of each unit which help with the smaller things. As well all the notes about the anatomy are thorough and explained clearly. For more details there are smaller portions that i have within my classes, and it is quite easy to add another label here and there. A lot of words, but to sum up this is great and fun for anyone studying anatomy. I would recommend! Review: great product! - This anatomy coloring book is a fantastic study tool! The illustrations are detailed and accurate, making it easier to understand complex structures. The updated edition adds more useful information, and coloring them in helps reinforce the concepts. Perfect for anyone studying anatomy!

Great book, didn't get to use it, but it's sturdy
Great book with detailed, beautiful illustrations. Came sealed in plastic, but unfortunately had some kind of perforation somewhere, because moisture somehow entered the packaging and caused mold/mildew growth on it, so don't leave it for too long like I did. Still looked great despite the mysterious damage though. It held up well to the damage and it was still surprisingly legible.

Informative and Relaxing
I'm currently in a graduate level Anatomy course, and I love this coloring book! It wasn't required for my class (we use a different textbook), so it doesn't always align perfectly with how we're approaching the material. With that being said, the foundation of the content is mostly the same. I find it to be a relaxing way to study without feeling like you're really studying at all. The colors and borders help with visual memory recall, and there's a lot of great background information for every section. The pages are thick and sturdy, and the book comes with an online access code to study on the go or help guide your coloring. If you're considering getting it, I say take the leap and go for it. It's worth it. As someone who does not normally spend time coloring, I find this to be an enjoyable, productive study tool overall. And for what it's worth, I think this is beneficial regardless of if you're new to anatomy or if you're very experienced and just want a refresher. P.S. I recommend using colored pencils that come with erasers since the pictures can be very detailed at times!

Great Learning Tool!
The book is great! I purchased this to assist in active learning for my current anatomy class, as well as brushing up on past classes before I begin nursing school. The book follows my textbook by chapter which is extremely convenient. Each section goes into great detail and matches what I am studying in class and in my text books. The pictures are terrific and informative. Each section also has text explaining basic necessary knowledge. I would highly recommend this active learning coloring book to anyone in the medical field, or anyone interested in learning about the human body! Being able to read about each part, learning the proper names, and coloring in the specific parts all at once greatly assists in memorization for any practical or exams- it allows the information to really “stick” in your mind.

So detailed!
I’m currently reviewing gross anatomy to prepare for Anatomy and Physiology and Cadaver Lab in the fall (I’m an Occupational Therapy student.) This coloring book has beautiful illustrations that really do help you understand different structures and functions in the body. Each illustration/coloring page has a synopsis of the material that is very closely related to the Netter’s atlas (pictured) that I bought for school as well. One thing I got especially giddy about was that it includes the origin, insertion, action, and nerve innervation of every muscle! I really wish I had this book when I took applied kinesiology as an undergrad for this reason (I’m a visual learner and we didn’t have access to cadavers as undergrad students.) I highly recommend this book to anyone who is studying anatomy - ESPECIALLY in a clinical context! It’s great to use to reiterate material you learn in lecture and lab, and I really like to do it when my brain feels fried from studying.

This book is nice for reviewing, studying, or learning about anatomy. The illustrations are very detailed, and each picture comes with lots of information and there are quizzes at the end of each section. The book is separated into chapters based on organ systems, like skeletal, muscular, nervous, etc.

Muy completo para el estudio de la anatomía.

Basically a way to study and do an adult colouring book at the same time! Most of the material is pretty basic but a really great way to solidify some facts.

Ich habe mir das Buch gekauft um die Anatomie besser zu verstehen, damit macht es mehr Spaß zu lernen und ist dabei noch Hilfreich, da es auf Englisch ist. Das Buch ist einfach perfekt.
