24mm intake manifold for maximum flow and maximum performance increase when using large carburettors. Steps should be taken to ensure that the manifold's outlet more or less matches the size of the carburettor when using tuning intake manifolds. Too small or too large of a manifold may hinder flow or even slow it down. As a rule of thumb, differences greater than 2mm are to be avoided. Of course, the ideal thing would be to combine a 24 manifold with a 24 carburettor.
