So so happy
Bought this alongside my new PS5 and the sound is just to die for. Incredibly immersive and even though it's a USB to optical connection (PlayStations have notoriously low audio via USB), the sound can get far louder than I'd ever be able to handle. I could not be happier. This is being used on a desktop. Connectivity is very easy and straightforward. Note that your only physical connection options for this bar are USB, HDMI, & optical. No digital (meaning 3.5mm headphone jack). This thing is quite large, so be mindful of that. 100% worth the money. If reading other reviews, please be aware that there are multiple products being sold under this one item. This review is SPECIFICALLY for the HW B400F. A lot of the complaints you'll see are for the other models.

Speaker review
Super nice and a really good bang for your buck, speaker is really loud and super clear, sub works really well with movies and music as well highly recommend to whoever wants to save some money on a sound bar but also wants a good high quality product

Leave it in adaptive mode for movies.
Sound bar works really good. It was easy to hook up using the cable. I was struggling to hook it up with Bluetooth so I just gave up. Leave it an adaptive mode. It works best for speech and Dialogue in movies. Really pleased with the volume. I can hear much better now and the movies sound great.

Good entry level sound bar, works great with Samsung TV - MODEL # HW-B750D
I ordered this to replace a 10 year old Klipsch SB1 sound bar that finally gave out, the system was shipped only in it's factory packaging which doesn't provide much protection from banging around in a UPS truck all day, understandably mine was damaged cosmetically so I'm returning it, it should probably be shipped inside of another box. But since it was already opened, I went ahead and hooked it up to see how it sounded. I connected via the HDMI ARC cable (not provided) to my Samsung TV, it recognized the sound bar immediately and performed flawlessly. It automatically worked with the Samsung TV remote, however it did come with it's own remote that has some added functions to it. An improvement from my previous set up is that when the sound bar is turned off, it automatically turns on the TV sound and automatically turns off the TV sound when the sound bar is turned on. The sound bar itself looks clean and modern and the wall mount brackets are provided in the box, the subwoofer has a dated look with a cloth cover on the front, but did connect to the sound bar no problem. If you are coming from just TV sound, this will be a huge improvement for you. In my case, replacing my old one (which was significantly more expensive) it wasunder whelming on the sound output, the quality is there, it just doesn't fill the room the same. If it hadn't been damaged in shipping, I probably just would have kept it, but since it was, I'll be returning it and searching for one more comparable to the one it's replacing. I paid $227 for this one, marked down from $447, It's worth $227 I would have returned it if I gave $447 for it and had the sound quality/ fulness that it has.

Have some understanding of how to read, and interpret, partially decent diagrams to assemble it all.
Hooking up this Samsung Soundbar / Subwoofer 750 System to a new Samsung TV. This was a very easy set up. I bought, and used, the recommended HDMI cable that was not included in the soundbar kit. Everything worked just right from the beginning. Am enjoying the enhanced sound.

Moving from a home with a 5.1 system to an apartment with this works well. Clear sound, priced well, and setup was easy. I love how I can connect it to my phone quickly.

Amazing sound, IF you use the digital optical cord
I purchased the HW-C450 soundbar with subwoofer. When I first set it up, I cranked up the subwoofer to see how good the bass is. I've never had one before, so I have nothing to compare it with, but I was really impressed. I used some subwoofer test audio tracks from Spotify and I could feel the bass deep in my soul. Really cool. But the next day, when I tried watching a normal show (connecting my Apple TV to the soundbar via Bluetooth), I didn't like it. First of all, after initially connecting the bluetooth, it wouldn't automatically connect whenever I turned on the Apple TV (I had to do it through the settings every time). But worse, whenever someone spoke, I heard a weird, low, gargly, scratchy echo of their voice. I knew that I hadn't blown out the speakers, and they were brand new, so I investigated. It was coming from the subwoofer. If I turned the subwoofer way down, the problem went away, BUT then the sound was too tinny because there were no low tones. I was very disappointed and was about to return it, but then I tried connecting the included digital optical cable to the TV and disconnecting the Apple TV bluetooth connection, and it instantly fixed the problem. I turned the subwoofer back up and got the bass back, but without the garbage echo.Long story short, in my experience the bluetooth doesn't work well for bass, but if you use the included cable instead of bluetooth, you get great audio. I plan to only use this soundbar with the cable from now on, which meets my needs, so 5 stars. Hope this helps someone!

Good for you tube music videos if you are not too picky about quality
I am a senior citizen who enjoys watching you tube videos of musicians from 1900 to about 1975. Led Zeppelin and others have to be played at higher volumes to replicate the 1960's experience. My smart TV was not strong enough. I previously had a DVD player with 7.1 surround sound that packed a punch, but it was a huge pain to set up and the plastic speakers were lo-fi. This sound bar with subwoofer was easy to set up and connect to the TV and puts out more than enough sound. The quality is adequate for Led Zeppelin and Charlie Patton. I don't think there are any real hi-fi alternatives anyway. If there are, they are far less affordable.
