KomelonSL2812 2 Pack 12-feet Tape Measure, Self Lock, Push Button Retrieval

I bought these because I wanted the older style with round button, darker green, and most importantly does not have 1/16" increments numbered on the tape (all that extra printing just makes it harder to read). If I wanted the newer style, I could have just picked them up cheaper at the local hardware store. But, THESE ARE NOT AS PICTURED.Might be OK for you if you want to pay extra money and wait for them to be delivered. But, look at the other Amazon listings to see what you will actually get.If they must add extra printing to the tape give me something useful such as an Engineer's scale or metric. But, don't put extra cr*p on the tape and pretend it isn't there.

Item description states "Komelon SL2812 2 Pack 12-feet Tape Measure, Self Lock, Push Button Retrieval", but I only received a single tape measure. Returned with reason "inaccurate website description".

I love this tape measure---great readability on the tape increments, and the self-lock mechanism is sweet. I give this a three-star rating because the item was advertised as having a Hi-Vis green case but the 2-pack I received were both in yellow (I already possessed a yellow one through a previous purchase). I'm keeping these only because it is too much trouble to pack them up and send back, with no assurance the replacements would be the same color.

These are what I call tape measures for idiots. If you need to know what the fractions are on a tape you don't need one in your hands. Nothing in the description says anything about these fractions being on these that's why I got them. Feels like a bait and switch. Instead of the green ones these are yellow also.

Fantastic ruler, the stop mechanism is so handy. I wish I'd bought one 10 years ago. Very handy for those who wind up using a ruler a lot. Also, the compact size is much easier to have on you all day if you're not measuring things over 12' long.

An OK tape measure. Not sure I like the "out until released" feature. The standard lack when you want it to stay out is less annoying.Inside measure is not definitive - it is 3" to the back of the rounded case - about 2.7 to the bottom of the tape canister.

First day. Works fine. Wrong color.

One handed operation is fantastic! These tapes are so useful! Love that they stay where pulled and then you can retract with the thumb when done.
