When it comes to stone fountains, making compromises in materials for the sake of cost can lead to disappointment. While you can make resin, plastic or cast concrete look like natural stone with faux finishes and stains, the durability will never match that of granite and slate stone. Especially in cold weather climates where water is constantly going through cycles of freezing and thawing, expanding in the porous surface of cheap imitations until it eventually cracks and crumbles.Not only are our stone fountains beautiful but they are also extremely easy to assemble and maintain. Most of our fountains will arrive to you with the basin separated from the actual fountain. This makes for easy assembly and moving is ever desired. Fountains do not require plumbing or water line installations. Our stone fountains have water pumps that re-circulate water and come with an extra long 30 ft cord. Mother Nature can re-supply the fountain with rain water or if you are located in dryer conditions you can add water yourself. For colder climates the fountains basin contains a plug for easier draining before winter comes (fountain must be drained before freezing weather conditions).To add to the beauty of the fountain, some come with illuminating blue LED lights. These are set in the granite or slate stone to bring extra ambiance to gentle flow of the water. The lights connect to your electrical outlet on a separate cord from the water pump and also have an extra long 30 ft length.
