This dog door is a total gamechanger. We spent so much time getting opening and closing the doors for our four pups. With this, they can come and go as they please. Installation was easy. I love that I don't feel cold air from the flap and it seems to seal really well. I recommend this if you're tired of having to get up just as you sat down for a dog that needs to go outside!

I liked this dog door but unfortunately it is too small (it was to replace a worn out dog door already installed in a door) for some of the dogs that spend time here...my own 3 could squeeze through the space and are comfortable with the multiple flaps (for some dogs it might be an overwhelming challenge) but in order to use it I'd have to replace the door. I'm hanging onto it to figure out if I'm going to do that...short of that I will happily donate it to a friend or family member who can use it for the right sized dog (I'd say up to about 35 pounds easily, up to 50 if they're comfortable with it being a tighter fit). Bottom line..it appears to be a well made and sturdy dog door but it's too small for some of the bigger dogs that visit.

It’s sturdy, easy for my dog to use, and allows for convenient access to the backyard. The installation was straightforward, and it’s well-insulated to keep the weather out. My dog loves the freedom, and it’s made life a lot easier. Highly recommend it for pet owners!

Overpriced and Poor QualityI was really disappointed with this product. First off, the price seemed way too high for what you're getting. I expected better quality considering the cost. Secondly, the installation instructions were confusing, and it took way longer to set up than advertised. And to top it off, after just a few weeks of use, the flap started to warp and didn't close properly anymore. Save your money and look elsewhere for a better pet door option.

This pet door is as well made as can be expected for this particular "flapper" style. The all aluminum frames are very rigid each on their own, even more once nested together and fastened into place. Each side has it's own vinyl flap, with the interior having an extra, insulated flap. Magnets are incorporated into the bottom of the flaps to try and secure them in the closed position while still allowing your pet to easily push open. The flaps are also designed to be easily replaced if worn or damaged.The package includes all the materials you could need for installation, including a template to layout the hole to be cut. The cut out is the only potentially difficult part of the install, the proper tools will make it easier. After that, it is a simple as screwing the unit together through the door. Once finished all the neighborhood cats, racoons, and dachshunds have the same access provided by the door you installed it into. That is where the included slide in blocker comes in. Dropping it into place prevents access to honest critters, and a challenge to the rest. I am reluctant to use this, since the first time my cats encounter any blockage to their door, it will surely be the last time they ever try and use it. Maybe your cats are different.The integrity of the assembled door is top notch, the design and material choices couldn't be better. Install is straight forward, easy with the right tools and can be accomplished in an hour or less.The problem I can see becoming an issue rather quickly is the driving wind. Where I live the wind is going to push rain and snow right through the sides of the flaps without question. In fact, the magnets are not strong enough to hold the flaps closed on most days. Since this is my first pet door, I can only speculate that all pet doors of this style have these problems. These issues can be minimized by selecting installation locations protected from the wind, if possible.Since the only problems I find are with pet doors in general and not the manufacturer of this one, I give 5 of 5 stars. It is a great product and I encourage people to purchase and install one, aware of it's limitations.

This dog door works great! It seems easy enough to install, and is very sturdy feeling. We live in a cold climate, so we need that weather-proofness. Will update with pictures once I have it installed!

This is a well made, quality pet door. I love that it has three flaps, which will work awesome through the cold months. It has an aluminum frame. The magnets at the bottom hold the flap in a closed position. This comes with everything you need to install it, including a template so that you don't cut your hole too wide. It also has a panel that you can put over the door to keep the cold out at night. I would make sure that you get the right size for your dog, but once they have it, freedom for mom, dad and the dog is the best! I recommend this door!
