A Small but Informative Book.
Very nicely written for the beginners as well as already practicing people. First step for a seriously minded learner. A good collection indeed.

Great, must-have reference book for your Qigong library
This is a great book, especially for those who want to know more about Qigong and approach it for the first time. With a clear language, it explains the origins and benefits of Qigong, and admirably illustrates the basic positions and sequences. It is a great support to anyone who needs a reference book about Qigong stances. It would be nice if some kind of video support or complement were offered, as for example is the case with Deborah Davis' "Women's Qigong for Health and Longevity," which offers videos to download from Vimeo, or with the books from the Chinese Health Qigong Association, which come with a DVD or a code to download the video part from the internet. To be honest, Katherine Allen here has started a YouTube channel where she is inviting her readers to ask for positions/sequences they want to see performed. As of today, however, she only has 4 clips. I imagine that with time most of the positions, if not all of them, will be covered, but it would be nice to just see the stances explained independently from readers' requests -- if not all at once, to see them growing on YouTube, until they are all there. I must say that the fact that they are free on YouTube is great, and I am sure that having all of them available for free would encourage the viewers to buy this book.Anyway, this is a must for anyone interested in Qigong, and I am glad something like this has been published. It's quite unique, I haven't seen a similar reference book on Qigong.
