perfect!
Just what I needed to test meat for fermentation such as Salami! Instantly reads and seems to be pretty accurate as I tested with a similar device for water testing.

So much better than the cheap pH meters
I have been making my own hot sauces for a few years now. It can be very helpful to know the pH of such sauces to ensure proper shelf life and food safety. I have tried a couple of different cheapo pH meters but never had much confidence in them. Their readings varied a lot even after calibration. This meter from GISNPA has a better quality feel to it. The display for one thing is a step up from the cheap meters. And it actually reads where it should. The instructions say to wait a few seconds for the reading to stabilize but mine takes up to 30 seconds sometimes. Not a huge deal, but quicker readings would be nice. The plastic body of the meter is made of injection molded plastic of fair quality. The protective end cap and the battery cap thread on easily and securely. There are included buffer solutions for calibration if needed. The box is sufficient for storage but a separate storage case might be nice at this price point. Overall a pretty nice tool and a big step up from what I've been using.

simple to use, precise
works as described. I don't have a second reference meter to confirm the readings but I'm getting the values I would expect from the local water as well as more acidic liquids

Very easy to use
Have used it a number of times for testing hot sauces. It seems to work very well. It gives consistently uniform values when testing different samples of the same batch of hot sauce.Would recommend to anyone who needs a simple way to check ph of food grade items.

The meter is simple and easy to use. Instructions are easy to follow for the most part.

VERY good device
This pH meter is hefty and works VERY well. Instruction sheet explains all about it and it's easy to use. Comes with batteries already installed and with a spare set, cleaning brush and rag. This item had the calibration solutions with it. VERY pleased with it.
