maamgic nails it again.
I am a big fan of these maamgic swim trunks. I have another pair of maamgic men's swim trunks and they have been my go-to for the last couple of swim seasons. These shorts have a nice fitted design and are not extremely baggy as other swim trunks tend to be. The 5.5 inch inseam is a nice length when you don't want board shorts down to your knees. The compression shorts are very comfortable and provide an extra pocket. The outer material is pretty cool, it has some texture to it, so it makes these look a little different than your standard swim trunks. This material appears to dry quickly. It's also pretty flexible/soft, so it makes for a nice pair of shorts to lounge around in.The compression liner is both good and bad, so depending on how you like to use/wear your swim trunks, here are my thoughts. The liner is GREAT if you are going to be in and out of the water all day. Something like a day at the lake, or day at the beach. Or maybe not in the water at all, but just around the water and you have swim trunks on just-in-case. The liner is great for this as it provides some great support, extra (secret) storage, and all that good stuff. But, the liner does take a while to dry. So if you are going to a water park, and then going to drive home, you may not be completely dry in the car.I really enjoy these shorts for activities where I'm out and about, or when I'm at home at the pool. I really enjoy being able to wear these shorts for more than just swimming.I am very happy with these swim trunks.

Unisex multi-use shorts!
These may be marketed as men's swim trunks but they aren't only for that use. They could definitely be for either men or women and for any athletic activity, involving water or not! The textured fabric and color choices (including solids, not just "swim trunks" type prints) make them look more like regular shorts than something just for swimming. Plus, they have tons of pockets -- 2 zippered side pockets and a large phone pocket in the liner shorts. I could definitely see using these shorts for hiking and mountain biking, as well as water activities like paddleboarding and kayaking. They even come in XS (not common for men's clothing) and aren't super long (also not common for men's shorts.) I am female, 5'1" 110lbs and usually wear a women's XS, but the XS in these shorts fits me, so I'd say they might run a little small for men's sizes. (Additional note for women: I don't have too much in the hips/butt department so men's stuff often fits me ... this fabric is not very stretchy, so if you have more curves in those areas you may need to size up. They have a drawstring waist so you could size up and still have the waist fit.) Really nice shorts, I would buy more!

Stylish comfortable shorts, slightly heavy material
I have another brand of swimsuit from Maamgic and I really like it. I thought I would try this one for something different. Ii has the same cut & construction as the other which I really like. The length is good, not too long, the pockets are good and the draw string is great. I love the look of the material. I think the blue & white striped seersucker is classic. The material though is a bit heavier than my other suit. We shall see how it fairs this swim season but my initial impression is positive and I'm hoping that the seersucker fabric works well and drys quickly.

Another great pair of shorts from maamgic
I already own 2 pairs of shorts from maamgic & love them both (one for swim, one for working out). This new pair of swim shorts from maamgic is no different. There's a lot to like with these shorts!- They stretch nicely so they won't inhibit you in any way when you're swimming.- They're comfortable!- Stitching seems to be high quality throughout- love the pop of color with the drawstring & the inner liner- Love the soft rubber aglets on the drawstringUnfortunately, the inner liner isn't really visible when you're swimming or walking. I would have preferred *something* peeking out when you're moving around but it doesn't really show... not even when you're squatting.IMO, that's not enough to knock off a star but FYI.Otherwise, I love these shorts as much as my other maamgic shorts.Highly recommended!5/5

Winner!
This swim suit is a true gold medalist in the hypothetical Men's Swim Trunk Olympics. Its 5.5-inch length strikes the perfect balance between style for beach volleyball and functionality in the water. The color-coordinated compression liner outshines traditional netting, providing superior comfort. The zippered pockets are a practical touch, ensuring no risk of losing credit cards or keys. With vibrant hues and whimsical Green Fish pattern, it effortlessly coordinates with various tops. Light weight and quick to dry, it packs up as a perfect travel companion. The diverse range of colors and patterns ensures I'll be adding more to my collection.

Excellent quality
These shorts are great! The material is good. The liner is spacious and comfortable. The stitching is top-notch. I ordered based on the provided size chart which showed me as an XXL, although I use an XL in standard US sizing. The XXL fit me perfectly. So, that means these run a little small. Check the chart though and order based on that. It's my opinion that the price at over $30 USD is a bit aggressive. I can get similarly styled name brand shorts at department stores below $30, and non-brand name for less than $20. I think the current price is a fair value when you take into consideration not having to drive, park, stand in line, etc., but these would be a better value under $25 USD.

Love the color, the fit, the liner, and the stretch!
I ordered the brown, and it's really more of a light khaki or taupe color. The length is just right. I like that you can wear these in casual settings, and they don't look really loud, tropical swim trunks. I think these are good for the pool or the gym. The phone pocket on the thigh is nice, as are the side zip pockets. It's a minor thing, but I also like the substantial drawstring with the coated tips. I wish there was a zip pocket in the back, but I'm admittedly a pocket guy.
