Basically mothballs
The smell of mothballs was overwhelming before I even opened the package. I was trying to get something with a different smell than mothballs.

Not 100% effective, and a strong smell
Not sure if they help or not. The mice chew them a bit, and they smell strongly of mothballs.

Mouse be gone!
Inside and outside of a car put up for the winter keeps the mice out. I hate chewed wires and insulation.

Mice seem to like these
These smell super bad, but the mice don't seem to mind. We put them around our work because the mice have been getting bad where we live. We are still catching several mice. They don't seem to repell them. I've even put those plug in things around and plugged up wholes where they could be getting in. It could be worse i guess, but we are still seeing and catching them in our traps more then I'd like. Yuck!!!

Effective and easy to use.
We live in a heavily wooded area in Connecticut and we spend our winters trying to keep mice from eating our cars. They love chewing on wires as in as you can imagine that can become very costly. This is one of the couple of products that we discovered that actually has a good impact on our mice population. It’s convenient to use just toss them under the hood and in the trunk and it goes a long way and preventing damage.
