Ultimate, 8mm Pad & Cover (NTRL)

Fits ok. The last cover I had came apart at the wide end and this one already looks like it will do the same. Not the greatest cover but it should hold up to my ironing about 3-4 times a week. The cover is thinner than I expected.

I am very satisfied with the ironing board cover. It fits perfect. Good quality. It even came in a day earlier than expected.

I spent a fair amount of time trying to figure out if this cover was right for my ironing board, which I discovered in researching is larger than an ordinary ironing board. The replacement cover worked, and so I am writing to share what I learned. In 2008, I purchased a Polder ironing board system in 2008. The board I have is 51“ x 17“. ( and I have been pretty happy with the system for 10 years, by the way.) The original cover was starting to feel very thin, and the grid of the ironing board was starting to show up when I ironed clothes. This replacement cover fit the ironing board well. The new cover secures using elastic straps and a latching system similar to that that is found in suitcases. I installed the original cover on the top of the replacement cover. The replacement cover is made of a cotton material, whereas the original cover had a metallic-type top. I am having a hard time describing this accurately, but the original cover was made of a smoother material, and I think the iron glided more easily over it. But I am still happy with the replacement cover, as it fit the ironing board nicely, and I don’t think it is necessarily easy to find a cover that will fit this unusually large ironing board.

Bought as a replacement

As advertised. The pad is thick and the securing straps are well built. I bought it to replace a pad on a large 51 x 19 Rowenta ironing board and it fit very well.

It’s nicely fitted to my large ironing board. Material is nice with padding and elastic around edges. The price is right I would buy this again.

I like the thickness of this product and the overall fit is very good for my board. Very pleased so far.
