I love this knife. I will use it as a salmon cleaning tool. It is heavy and very well built. I really like the fact that the edge goes around the tip up to the serrations. If anything I do wish the serrations would have come a little closer to the tip as they are very useful. I was able to put a very sharp edge on it. Hope to have it for a long time!

Easy to take out, very sharp, and great for carving fish

Nice design but damn it ain’t sharp for nothing. Was able to run my finger down it with pressure. Overall feels solid but for the price I’m definitely disappointed. Also didn’t realize it’s made it china. Won’t be buying their fillet knives

I'm excited to have this SORD Dive Knife on hand for the kayak and boat fishing my wife and I do in the summer. The sheath retention and knife itself feels very solid: the G10 handle looks cool sure, but I'll add it has a great grippy peel-ply like texture and feels fully married to the tang of the knife. The blade itself is a traditional dive knife shape, with two fully-sharpened edges that are fairly sharp out of the box. The tip on my knife was not particularly pointy/sharp, but to be honest I'm fine with that, as most of the cutting I would anticipate doing would use the edges as opposed to stab/thrusting like a real diver might need for dispatching a fish or predator.I will add that I found it odd a knife at this price doesn't state the steel type as I would expect from any quality cutlerly. The available info is just that it is corrosion resistant, but that could very well be due largely to the non-stick feeling coating on the blade. Time will tell, I suppose, but so far it has not rusted being strapped to my kayak PFD and has stayed sharp enough that I haven't gotten annoyed yet.

This is a small knife compared to others I have. It is also fairly expensive for such a small knife.The packaging was great - the kind of packaging Apple products have. If it is a gift, it will make a nice impression. The grip has a rough texture so it does not slip if wet. The sheath is made of plastic and may not last long.A good knife for a variety of activities.

I really like this knife. It came out of the box sharp enough and with very sharp serration. I really like the G10 grip as it is very non slip when wet. The knife has enough backbone for tough cutting tasks. The sheath fit is good and the sheath holds the knife firmly and securely. The sheath fits my dive belt fine. Overall, this is a well designed, well built knife that will last a long time.One negative is that SORD only lists the steel as high carbon steel that is titanium coated for rust resistance. At this price, I want to know the steel I'm paying for. Since the knife is made in China my guess would be the steel is 8Cr13MoV which is a good steel for a knife like this but I don't know for sure. Time will tell how well this knife holds an edge and I'll find out pretty quickly as this knife won't be babied and will be used for cutting rope, thin wire etc.

This knife is built solid and really good quality. It feels great in my hand. The handle is ribbed and really easy to get a good grip on. No chance of this thing slipping from your hand while dispatching a fish. The blade is tough, double edged, and partially serrated. A really excellent design. It works well, easily stabbing through the tough skull of any fish needing dispatched. I would highly recommend!

Out of the box this knife is sharp enough to shave hair off my arm. The point is also sharp. The serrated edge could help with scaling fish. The knife is comfortable to hold and wield, even while wearing my neoprene gloves. The sheath holds the knife in securely and it pulls out easily when I need it. The loops on the sheath that allows me to wear it on my belt, which is my preferred method for carrying it. Time will tell how durable and corrosion resistant it is. For now, I am very happy with this product.
