I generally wear a size 7-7.5. I have an older version of these shoes, like the very first version of these that vivobarefoot made and I absolutely love them. They have held up from years of camping and hiking, treading through rivers and lakes - they have been through a LOT and as soon as the sole (finally) gave out I went to buy another pair. Not wanting to wait for shipping I bought these through Amazon. My old ones were so worn out I wasn't sure what size they were. I bought these in 7.5 and I am not kidding you, they fit about two sizes too big (see the pic). Besides the weird sizing issue they seem great, besides they also have ridiculously long laces that I have to tie in knots three times so they don't drag. I just decided to keep them as I bought them last minute before a trip and they actually did work, though not ideal (they stayed on fine, but my feet know how long they are so getting used to having an extra inch or so of length took a few trips before I eventually acclimated). I honestly have no idea what size I would order if I were to try again - perhaps 5.5 ...

I have many vivo shoes. This is my second pair of these.For reference I am 8.5 in most normal toebox shoes. I am an eight in vivobarefoot boots and I am a 7.5 in these.At first they felt a little strange. Im happy I stuck with them as they loosened up and gave to the shape of my feet. They became one of the most comfortable shoes I own.

I debated for a while about what size to order. I am pretty solidly a 7.5 in terms of length and width of everything but the toebox. I will sometimes size up to an 8. . I ended up going with a size 7.5 (38) because I wanted to wear these without socks and didn’t want too much extra room.Definitely the better choice. The size 8 would be way too long and loose on my ankles. However they were way too narrow to allow my toes to splay, and too restrictive for medium or high volume feet. I have medium volume feet and when they flex, they bite into the top of my foot.I improved the fit quite a bit however by heating them up with a blow dryer and stretching them out. This made them pretty wearable actually. I wore them for a couple weeks and they ended up causing extensor pain, I believe just an issue with the rubber pressing to hard into my foot when I have to crouch down to pick something up?I have tried 4 different pairs of Vivobarefoot and found that it is literally just impossible to fit them to my feet. If I get a size that approaches enough room for my toes, I have like 1.5 inches of space in front of my feet.If you normally fit the shape of Vivobarefoot shoes though and have a low volume foot, I would say these are pretty awesome. Love the design, love the material of the sole, and I love how the interior of the shoe has little bumps to make them more grippy if you are wearing without socks. Really wish these could have worked for me.Also, you might be tempted to think these are great beach or water shoes… they only really work that way if you have socks under them and are mostly walking on wet sand. Otherwise they will fill up with sand and dirt constantly and run really badly.

Der Ultra III Bloom ist ein toller, wassertauglicher Freizeitschuh. Im Gegensatz zur Größenangabe fällt er deutlich größer aus als erwartet. Ich trage gewöhnlich (auch bei Barfußschuhen der selben Marke) 39/40. In diesem Fall gingen die 39er zurück, da sie eher wie 40,5/41 ausfallen - waren vor allem deutlich zu lang. 38 passt in diesen Fall knapp aber gut, geht sogar noch mit dünnen Baumwollsöckchen. Auch ohne Socken sind sie deutlich angenehmer zu tragen, als ich von einem solchen Schuh erwartet habe.Nichts rutscht oder reibt, auch nicht wenn der Schuh nass ist.Die Sohle behält auch nass ihren Grip.

Viel zu groß, 37 fällt wie 39 aus !!

Wer's mag... Ist sicher Geschmackssache. Sieht aus wie billiges Plastik. Ist aber matt. Fühlt sich auch komisch an und sieht seltsam aus am Fuß.Nicht meins.Qualität und Verarbeitung sind aber sehr gut, soweit vor der Retoure beurteilbar.
