I ordered this knowing that I would need the companion mud box - this solves all of the issues with that mud box! Together they form a great team and it makes it easy to apply joint compound and to scrape your trowel clean!

This is a pretty good idea, and it really makes cleanup of the pan a lot easier! Of course, you have to have the right pan, so I ordered one to go with it, and the pan is a bit smaller than I usually use, so my longer taping knives don't fit in the new pan. Easy enough to work around that, but it would be nice if the setup was accommodating of longer tools.The steel of this item is just a little bit flimsy, but having the pan in place seems to stabilize it enough for regular use.In spite of the drawbacks I like this for the ease of cleanup. I'll keep using it.

This MudFlexTools 10.5" frame is specifically designed to fit over the MudFlexTools 10.5" drywall mud bucket. The bucket is ordered separately and is a silicone, easy grip, easy clean bucket. The problem is the silicone sides aren't rigid enough to let you control the mud on your knife.That's where this stainless steel frame comes in. The stainless steel is rustproof and easy to clean. It fits perfectly onto the bucket. It gives you the hard edge you need to better manipulate your sheetrock mud. What I think any consumer asks themselves is why they aren't sold as a set in the first place. The frame serves its intended purpose and takes the bucket from being so-so to being a hit with my sheetrock hanging wife.Recommended.

This is a great addition to the silicone mud pan. The silicone mud pan was too flexible for my liking and it was difficult to scrap off the mud. This frame adds a good amount of rigidity to the mud pan without losing the flex.
