Good bit of kit
Just built my shed...man cave! Was just going to fit a normal static vent, but came across this item instead! Unlike most solar vents this one has a battery back up.runs on solar energy during the day also while recharging the battery.then when sun goes down the battery kicks in running the vent almost constantly.it was easy to install, looks good and works better than I was expecting! Glad I bought and would recommend!

Easy to fit and works well
Used to add ventilation in a chicken coop, really easy to fit and set up. Quite powerful at full power and has been working consistently for over 6 months now and not had any issues with it.

Good solar powered fan
Works well, the solar panel seems to power the fan even on a dull day. Lost one star because the fan isn't very powerful

Works well, even in fairly low light.
I haven't managed to get the battery to discharge yet. It's fairly quiet, but does a decent job.

Airflow
Airflow is extremely weak. I don’t know what I was expecting but it is nowhere near enough to provide much ventilation for an 8 metres cubed (small box) room. It periodically turns on and off for no reason.

Supposed to work on cloudy days
I'm a bit disappointed with this product. The fan doesn't work at all on cloudy days. While the power storage setup is somewhat impressive, the fan itself isn't very powerful. The battery life claims that it will function even during overcast weather, but that's not true either I would have returned it but for the fact that I had to cut a hole in the glazing of me greenhouse to fit it thumbs down 👎🏽

Bar
Great product for my bar needed a fan

I put this fan on a chicken coop. I was expecting it to last at least 8 hours after sunset. I am pleasantly surprised that it has ran continuously, the battery has lasted not only 8 hours into the night but a full 2 days on just the battery running non stop. The lowest I've seen the battery pack discharged was 80% The fan is almost whisper quiet. It moves quite a bit of air for my little chicken coop and it had drastically cut down on both the heat and the smell. The solar panel pairs great to the battery pack and 4 inch fan. When the panel is getting light the fan increases in speed and when it runs off the battery it is a little slower. A 4 inch hole saw worked perfect for installing this into the side of the coop. The fan pauses every now and again... maybe it's the solar controller checking for solar input, this is the only minor hiccup over witnessed. As far as quiet, the chickens never even noticed it. This works great in a chicken coop and worth every penny.

At first it went well, you do need to place the panel in direct sunlight otherwise the batterij won’t charge and the fan wil not work for long after 2 months the fan has stopt working
