It Was Time
It was time to replace the belt unit. It had a noise in the printer and the pages were coming out dirty. Furthermore, it was a good price and it was easy to replace.

OEM Replacement (Don't touch the surface!)
Easy to install. Good directions and worked right out of the box.

Didn't work out that great for me...
Can't say I was totally happy with this. The print quality seemed to degrade as soon as I installed it. The printing was just not as sharp, and toner would sometimes smudge. So maybe not a good value in the end. I suffered through it, until a paper jam forced my hand and I bought a new printer. B&W only this time (though still scans and copies...).

Fixed Problem!
We were having a problem with the cyan toner leaving streaks on the print jobs and the replacement part resolved the issue.

Simple installation
I changed this unit because the printer told me it was time to. Simple to install. Not sure what it does or what might have happened if I did not change it. But the original has lasted for seven years.
