Atco/ Qualcast/ Suffolk Punch Genuine F016103210 Holder

I bought this to replace the old triangular item on my Qualcast Classic 35S. The old one allowed the drive pinion to move and I have had to replace it twice. This item is bolten into more of the existing holes and thus holds the drive pinion better. It was very easy to fit and not the mower runs much quieter. I just wish that I have bought one earlier.

This part replaces the Triangular shaped roller drive shaft bush housing on a belt driven Suffolk Punch style cylinder mower, which have a habit of cracking through vibration and so losing drive to the roller. Although this new component looks completely different to the original, it is much stronger and combines the roller drive shaft bush housing with the rollers axle into a single metal casting, so is both simpler and more robust. Worked a treat on my mower.

The original part broke, (photo 2) - not surprising, my Atco Balmoral is about 25 years old.It is easy to fit, remove the outer cover, remove two pulleys and the belts, the part is clearly visible as per the photo, (taken many years ago, before it broke). It took about 20 minutes to fit the new one and re-assemble. My mower now works without any problems, engaging the drive/rollers is now much smoother. Recommended!

I liked how it fitted into the mower, straight forward and easy to understand and will outlast the rest of the mower.

this item was identical to the original part which had been damaged prior to me owning the mower.

Anyone with basic tools and DIY skills could tackle this job.

This is a product needed on EVERY mower as described. I have two mowers each with a lease of new life in the drive system due to fitting this simple device.
