I have been using this for about a month mixed with other face oils that I love. I was afraid to use it alone in case it would break me out since it's so thick. I noticed an improvement in my hyperpigmentation during this time, but did not link it directly because I had mixed it with other oils. I was feeling severely dry one day and since this oil is the most thick and luxurious, I applied this one only to my face before bed one night (and to my hands which were also very dry). When I woke up in the morning, I saw a dramatic difference in my face pigmentation, so creamy and even looking. Not a single new pimple and actual shrinking of one I already had. My hands felt great too. It is amazing. Not only is it a superior moisturizer, it does work extremely well to even complexion. I love this brand's tamanu oil! This oil is organic tamanu oil and it’s thick in consistency and color is true. Decent pump that pumps a decent amount into hands. Easy to apply on face and cleared my skin up in a few days. Make sure you don’t get any in eyes or around eyes because it does burn and irritate. Great for sensitive skins and psoriasis or dry skin. This stuff works and is amazing and I wish it came in a larger bottle. It works great on hair and made my hair soft and detangles hair really well. This oil also has a slight smell that’s kinda reminds me of some toasted nuts if that make sense. I’m high impressed with this oil and is my first time using it. If you have problematic skin and skin disorders then this stuff is definitely for you and should try it out. I highly recommend.

MY SKIN: In my 40s and on tretinoin, which makes my skin a bit more dry than usual. Have some sun spots and freckles. PACKAGING: The bottle comes in a simple generic cardboard box that you toss when you take the bottle out, and both the box itself and the bottle had the manufacturing date. It was manufactured 2 months ago, so pretty fresh in my opinion. The bottle had some issues, when I tried to pump some oil out nothing ever came out. I had to pull the mechanism out of the bottle to see what was blocking the plastic tube, and turns out the tube was too long for the bottle and it was just shoved inside anyways bending it completely which prevented the oil from coming up. I had to get all messy and trim the tube so it actually fits the bottle, which finally worked. I don't know if it's the damaged tube or just the incorrect packaging for this particular consistency, but the oil still comes out with difficulty and very slowly. PRODUCT ITSELF: The oil is a bit on a thicker side, greenish color, and has a deep scent of some plants and nuts. Not an unpleasant one, to me personally t least it's not. The scent doesn't disappear and you can still smell it on your face. The oil is very moisturizing and takes a long time to absorb and just sort of sits on your skin. I made a mistake of using it in the morning, and regretted it. I think it'll be best to use at night. Actually, my mom tried it and took it home with her. She swears by it now, and says her skin never felt better. OVERALL IMPRESSION: Very interesting and unusual oil, and if you don't mind a nutty smell that is on a stronger side, then you'll be fine with it.

They sent 2 tamanu seeds with the oil! I have no idea what to do with them but it's such a cute gesture lol. It also assures me that this is legit tamanu oil that's actually made with care. So far I've used it on my face after cleansing and haven't broke out and also used it on my nails. I'm really happy with it so far ☺️

Just got and tried this so too early to know how much it will help. Did not cause any negatives. Is moisturizing. Will update after significant time of usage. Have been having good success overall with Ayurvedic products.

This CARAWAY Tamanu Oil is a thick, slightly green looking liquid and smells freshly pressed. I have mature, combination skin that is prone to redness because of a hereditary condition. After using this oil as the last step in my nightly routine, my skin looks more moisturized and less irritated in the morning. It seems to be quite soothing to my skin. The bottle is made from dark glass, which should offer protection from the light, and has a pump for easy dispensing.

Some is recommend me this oil I use this for Hair and scalp: Tamanu oil can be used for hair and scalp care. Sun protection: Tamanu oil can absorb UV light, but more studies are needed before it can be used as sunscreen. Pain relief: Tamanu oil can be used in massages for soothing rheumatisms and sciatica.

I apply it overnight and it’s working well on my dry skin, and even my stretch marks seem to be fading.
