These chameleon colour shift flakes are so pretty. Deep metallic colours that shift with the light, if like me you are drawn to shiny things then these are a must to add to your stash!The flakes are like a very fine glitter but with varying size particles from super small dust to about 1mm shards, so different effects can be achieved depending on how much you use and how they are applied. I’ve not used anything like these before so my first trials were a bit hit and miss but I’m sure with a bit of practice I will perfect the finishes I’m aiming to achieve.The 5 pots contain 0.5g each (I would judge the volume of the pots to be about 10ml and they are approx. three quarters full) which doesn’t sound like very much but a little goes a long way so they will definitely last quite a while. There was a small brush included which is a useful addition but sadly no instructions which would have been helpful if only to give some ideas and inspiration. Very happy with them though and I’ll definitely be doing some more playing with them.

I am reviewing Chameleon Flakes Intense Colourshift mica pigment powder, 5 x 0.5g (fuchsia, blue, green, violet, lime).When I received these I was initially surprised how small the box of five pots was for £19.99 as I am used to buying standard ultra fine glitter where you would get about 400g for that price, as opposed to 2.5g of these. However, these are much, much prettier than standard glitter. Due to settling, the pots are between half and three quarters full depending on the size of the flakes they contain and you do have to be careful when opening and using as the particles are very light and become airborne easily.I used about a quarter of a pot to make 3-4 small pendants using clear UV resin. With hindsight I might have got the same result using less pigment if I had used black resin to help the pigment stand out more and I plan to try this next time.Due to the price I don’t plan on getting any more of this particular type of pigment, but it does look impressive.

Photographs don't do this justice, capturing the colour altering in the light is hard. These are excellent. Painted on the inside of a resin mould, and you have a wonderful colour changing finish. A little goes a long way, and great for the price.

A lovely set of vivid metallic colours in a variety of colour mixes. These jars are packed with glittery sparkles. The included brush is nice if you want to brush in the flakes. The colours are stunning and will go a long way with resin crafts. Will make any project more magical.

It was our first foray into using resin moulds, and these colours are absolutely fantastic, such a wonderful collection of colours and theyre vibrant too! They look absolutely amazing when added to resin, and sooo nice! definately worth it!

The 'LET'S RESIN Chameleon Flakes, Intense Colour Shift Pigment Powder' arrived in a branded box that also contained a brush.This is another of those additives I had never used before, and my first attempt was not a great success, but I could still see the effect, it is now a matter of perfecting y technique.Like other additives I have used, these chameleon flakes could do with a basic instruction guide for the beginner so as to cut down on excess use or waste.

These flakes are great.They are very lightweight, you need to make sure they don't float around in the room if you are covering moulds with them.They work best in smaller areas where they create a stunning sheen and glamour.These flakes can be used by beginners.They are sheer and best used with some black background resin.This is a lovely set that I gladly recommend to you.

Amazing colour shift. Excellent item. Photos don't do them justice. I've got these for acrylic and gel nail art, and this is the best I've ever seen. This item has far exceeded my expectations, big quantity, looks good on the table in front of clients, better colour shift I've seen, price, and coverage.
