The sound quality is really good, no doubt about it
The sound quality is really good, no doubt about it, but I think the build quality might be hit and miss. I bought these in April, and the soft plastic used is really flimsy. The soft earbud covers ripped apart after about 3 months of use, I've lost some sound out of the left earbud, and the jack is coming apart now too. First the plastic started ripping at the base of the jack, and now the wire is exposed. Considering that I primarily used them when sitting at my desk, and I've been harsher in the past with much cheaper earbuds that lasted me at least a solid year, I would say these were NOT worth the price, no matter the sound quality. For this price range, I'd recommend some AKG's. Those have really great sound quality and a solid build, and if I hadn't misplaced my old pair I honestly wouldn't have bought these. Also, I've got a rather small head, so just on a personal note, the earbuds were a little large. Nothing too major though.

Good build quality, sound was a bit cheap for the price
Not really comfortable, but not terrible. Sound quality was not good enough to reflect the price. Surprisingly tinny. However, the build quality was GREAT.

View coming from PK3.
As an owner of the PK3; I like these. The build quality was my only complaint with the original; and that appears fixed. General build quality has improved as well as slightly better sound quality. Win Win; would recommend.
