Prints clean and wound on the spool well. Filament can be quite brittle but not excessively so. It did snap once when feeding into the ams but if you're gentle, it's fine. Looks great especially for this low price. As its a cardboard spool, if you're using an AMS or any multi material system, make sure to print some strips for round the edges before using.

When it comes to 3D printing, having a reliable, no-fuss white PLA is essential, and this eSUN PLA Basic filament is exactly that. I've used several eSUN filaments before and this "Basic" line continues to deliver the quality I expect from the brand. The print quality is excellent. The white is a clean, bright, and opaque colour, perfect for all sorts of projects, from prototypes to finished pieces that need a clean look. I've experienced no issues with pigmentation consistency. Performance-wise, it's a dream to print with. It adheres perfectly to the build plate (I use a PEI sheet) and shows great layer adhesion, resulting in strong, clean prints. I've had no clogs, jams, or any extrusion problems. The dimensional accuracy, while listed at +/- 0.05mm, has been perfectly consistent and hasn't caused any issues whatsoever. It just works.I've attached a sample print used with this filament. The winding on the 1KG cardboard spool is neat and tidy, feeding smoothly into my printer without any risk of tangles. For the price, this is an outstanding filament. It's a fantastic, reliable workhorse that I will definitely be ordering again. If you just need a spool of white PLA that you can trust to get the job done without any hassle, this is a perfect choice. Highly recommended.

I’ve been using SUNLU PLA filament for a while now, and I’m really impressed with its consistency and performance. The filament comes well-spooled with minimal tangles, and it feeds perfectly through my printer every time. It prints smoothly, with excellent layer adhesion, and very little stringing or warping compared to other PLA brands I’ve tried. The finish on prints is clean and slightly glossy, which makes models and decorative pieces look professional. I’ve printed both detailed models and larger pieces, and it handles both equally well. Dimensional accuracy is reliable, so parts fit together as expected without post-processing adjustments. Another big plus is how easy PLA is to work with, and SUNLU’s quality makes it even better—strong enough for functional parts, but still easy to sand and paint if needed. Overall, SUNLU PLA is a top-notch filament that combines ease of use, excellent print quality, and reliable consistency. Definitely one I’ll keep stocked.

I'm pretty pleased with how eSUN PLA performing in my Bambu P1S, on the whole. The first prints looked clean, the layers bonded well and the dimensional accuracy is impressive given the price. I ran a few functional pieces and they came out to spec without any obvious defects, which is always a nice relief. In use I did hit a minor hiccup: the cardboard spool wobbled slightly as it fed through my setup, and that caused a brief feed-issue (it flexed a little under tension). It didn’t stop the print, but it did introduce a tiny skip-line on one item. After reducing tension and securing the spool axis better the problem didn’t recur. So if you’re using it on high-speed or heavy extrusion prints, just check your spool setup. Overall though it’s good value and delivers strong performance out of the box. If you’re looking for a reliable standard filament that doesn’t cost the earth, I’d certainly recommend this one.

I’ve been using the eSUN PLA Filament in black for my 3D printing projects, and I couldn’t be happier! While I haven't encountered any significant downsides, I make sure to store it properly to avoid moisture issues. The adhesion of this PLA to the build plate is very minimal (almost non existent in certain areas). A light breeze would be enough to move the layer from the print bed. The initial layer will also warp on the bed where the adhesion has become zero. I have tried multiple print settings to attempt to use this PLA, but the initial layer fails to adhere to a useable standard. I use a standard glass bed with a glue stick to adhere the initial layer. I usually utilise eSUN PLA+ but ordered this PLA basic in error, sadly. The bed glass is cleaned between prints as I print large items and want to ensure accurate prints. CR10 Smart UK Settings Attempted for eSUN PLA Basic: Nozzle Temp Ranges: 195 - 220c Bed Temp Range: 20 - 70c Speed of Initial Layer: 5 - 20mms Additional Bed Adhesion Tried: Glue Stick (and attempted without just in case) CR10 Smart UK Settings for eSUN PLA + Nozzle Temp Ranges: 195 - 200c Bed Temp Range: 60c Speed of Initial Layer: 20 - 40 mms Additional Bed Adhesion: Glue Stick The eSUN PLA + I have previously been using has been flawless in printing small to large items with the settings above. I have already order more eSUN PLA+ to continue my current project.

Have a Bamboo printer but due to the unavailability of Bambu filament and their price I have sort of moved over to this Filament of which is a much better price and mostly always available, unlike some, so far I have not had any issues with printing and will continue to make purchases

🟩⬜🟥Recensisco questo prodotto in maniera onesta ed imparziale e senza alcun condizionamento, per aiutare nella valutazione chi vorrà acquistarlo🟩⬜🟥 Leggendo dei commenti su di un forum ho deciso di acquistare questa bobina della eSUN, marchio di cui avevo sentito parlare ma non avevo mai provato. Arrivata la mia nuova Creality K1 Se ho deciso di acquistarlo e provarlo, non mi sono affatto pentito, ora vi racconto le mie impressioni. 📦Contenuto della confezione : - 1 x Bobina eSUN Filamento PLA 1,75 mm da 1Kg di colore Argento 🔎Come si presenta il prodotto : In prodotto arriva in un cartone di colore bianco brandizzato eSUN e la bobina al suo interno in un ottimo sottovuoto. Una volta aperta si nota da subito la buona qualità del PLA che nel mio caso è di colore argento (forse leggermente più chiaro della versione grigia). La casa lo indica come compatibile per la K1 ed ovviamente anche della mia K1 Se e tante altre stampanti 3D. Ha un diametro dichiarato e misurato con calibro di 1.75mm e, sempre il produttore indica una velocità di stampa da 40-300 mm/s ed una temperatura di stampa da 190-230℃ (consigliata 215℃), così ho deciso di effettuare divere prove di stampa a velocità diverse, essendo capace con la K1 Se di arrivare a 600mm/s. Stampa con impostazioni di base a 200 mm/s la stampa è venuta perfetta e senza nessuna imperfezione, nulla da invidiare a PLA più costosi (visto che questa è una velocita media di stampa che utilizza la maggior parte dei neofiti della stampa 3D come me). Stampa con impostazioni a 300 mm/s, il 3DBenchy è venuto benissimo. Stampa con impostazioni a 500 mm/s, il 3DBenchy tutto sommato è venuto bene ma ho riscontrato delle imperfezioni sicuramente dovute al non corretto raffreddamento del layer. 👨‍🏫In conclusione: Questo PLA mi ha piacevolmente sorpreso soprattutto per il rapporto qualità/prezzo. Le stampe vengono molto bene, aderisce benissimo al piatto e le velocità di stampa indicate dal produttore sono veritiere, nei miei test ne ho raggiunte anche di superiori ottenendo dei buoni risultati. 👨‍🏫 Il mio voto è ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Stelle: Ottimo filamento PLA Spero che questa recensione sia stata d'aiuto a chi volesse acquistare questo Filamento PLA della eSUN.

Ich bin mit dem eSun PLA Filament 1,75 mm in Weiß absolut zufrieden. Die Druckergebnisse sind wirklich sehr schön: saubere Oberflächen, gleichmäßige Schichten und kaum sichtbare Layer. Das Filament lässt sich problemlos verarbeiten und läuft konstant ohne Verstopfungen oder Schwankungen. Die Haftung auf dem Druckbett ist gut, Warping hatte ich bisher nicht. Auch längere Drucke gelingen zuverlässig und ohne Probleme. Die Farbe Weiß ist gleichmäßig, nicht fleckig und ideal für saubere, hochwertige Drucke. Insgesamt ein sehr gutes PLA mit starkem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Für Einsteiger wie auch erfahrene Nutzer eine klare Empfehlung – ich werde es definitiv wieder kaufen.
