Great for an accent pillow but it was a little stiff

This throw pillow cover is the CUTEST! The material is thickly woven and the back is a contrasting color. You can see the before and after, the fit was perfect. We redecorated our bedroom and the previous colors no longer matched. This cover gave new life to a perfectly good pillow. The case isn’t too soft but this is just a throw for aesthetics so no one will be cuddling it.

Ordered this because it was the best looking design with this saying I could find for my daughter who is an avid reader and loves to read instead of, well, anything...it always "just one more chapter!" before going to sleep or doing anything else she's supposed to do. When I saw it I thought it was perfect! Well, when it arrived my first thought was the material is rough, like burlap, so it's definitely more of a display piece than for function. Then, it had a tear by the zipper so the sewing isn't the best quality either. I feel like it's a toss up between poor quality and the cute design.

I've had it for just over a year and am going to have to throw it away anytime now. The pillow has had very minimal usage.In short, good idea, but it's about as durable as a piece of paper in a rainstorm.
