Well made. Holds a good charge. Packaged well
The Global Care Market Meridians Energy Pen is a handheld device designed to stimulate acupuncture points and provide relaxation and pain relief. It uses electronic pulses to mimic the sensation of acupuncture needles, without the actual needles. While individual results may vary, many users report finding relief from pain and tension after using the pen.Energy flows, with a gentle zap,Meridian pen, a healing chap.Pain relief and relaxation's bliss,A soothing touch, a healing kiss.

Like a micro current pen
This little gadget is quite powerful emitting electric pulses to the attachments. I didn't know how the energy pen would work at first, so I put on the pointy attachment, and I didn't use the included conductive gel at first try. The electric pulses are so obvious on one of my hand's trigger points that I felt like I was getting shocked during each pulse. The intensity was only at 1!! Later I noticed that the intensity setting seems to make no difference when you try to adjust from 1 to 9. They all seem the same strength. (maybe that's my sensitivity issue) I went on to try other attachments, the most gentle one is the flat round one. I think this can be a great tool for micro current use and maybe on facial areas if that would improve or stimulate muscles. This is not a rechargeable device, but battery was included and I turned it on right out of the package. This also came with a little black drawstring bag, so it's very convenient. Arrived nicely boxed and instruction manual is also included with pictures. Very nice item. I give this a 4 stars because the quality of the unit is still available for improvements. As I turn the knob for the battery chamber, I feel it's not that smooth and the pen itself doesn't feel like TOP quality made material. Other than that, I am sure the manufacture put a lot of thoughts and love into this.

Does it do anything
On the highest setting I can barely feel it at all, Ive used tens units in the past and thought this would be similar? Maybe I expected to much but I feel nothing.

Comes with everything you need
The media could not be loaded. This little pen packs a powerful punch. I placed some contact gel on my leg, then chose the attachment I wanted to try. I started at 9 but quickly came down. It's very strong current at its highest volume 9. I had to go back down to 3 or 4. I'm excited to try all the pressure points it recommends.

TENS Unit / Borderline Dangerous Quack Device
I'll evaluate this first on its merits as a TENS device. [I've used those before with moderate success.] As a transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulator, it is moderately effective, but with serious, potentially dangerous flaws.Worst of all: IT WILL SHOCK YOU WHILE HOLDING IT. :( Not good. The aluminum housing is well made, but a terribly implemented design choice. Fortunately it's merely a AA in there, but the internal capacitor can still deliver some pain. The included pamphlet/instruction manual also could lead the user towards serious misuse. There are more than a few areas of the body contraindicated for electrical stimulation. [Front of the neck, facial areas, chest, etc] Do some research and be aware of risks if you actually purchase this thing. 1 star of nope from me.

A micro TENS unit
You cannot use this on someone else. It has to complete the circuit by the person being shocked as the same person holding the pen. It does stimulate muscle but it is not very strong and because it pinpoints it does not affect a large muscle strongly. This might be useful for acupuncture or massage techniques but I wouldn’t rate it for therapy.

Acupuncture pen
I’ve never used one of these before and it’s actually really easy to use and works great. I’m looking forward to learning more, seems like it definitely helps

Not what I was expecting
When I hear acupuncture I think of using needles to hit trigger points. I wasn’t expecting this to be a small TENS unit device. The container of gel I received with the device was very small and was less than half full. When using it without the gel I found that it was difficult to feel the electrical pulses even with it set on the highest setting. I just wasn’t impressed with this device.
