Nice idea
I really like that these are made in the USA and that this company found a way to re-use something that would otherwise be wasted. We have been using them for our backyard fire pit and they work pretty well. On windy days, we have had some trouble getting them to stay lit, but otherwise, they work as well as old newspaper.

American made! Great for camping & backpacking
We really like these mostly due to the weight and size—they are excellent for camping and don’t add a lot of weight or bulk to my bag. They work pretty well in normal conditions. It’s non toxic and safe for cooking too. Love the fact that these are made from upcycled beeswax food wraps—and made here in the USA. Would recommend to any outdoor enthusiast!

Perfect!
Absolutely love that this is a sustainable way for this company to use up scraps from their main product instead of throwing them into the waste stream! My friends and I started several fires on a windy beach with these this past weekend with no trouble and the box is absolutely PACKED with the strips, so there's no shortage. I imagine I'll get several more weekends out of just the one pack. I'm also a big fan of this as an option instead of using lighter fluid or other types of petroleum-based DIY fire starting options, as I know beeswax is fairly safe when food is involved, comparatively. These strips also work MUCH better than the fatwood I purchased for previous summers. I'll absolutely be stocking back up on these beeswax strips when I run out...and in the meantime, my campfire kit smells like honey!

Work surprisingly well
I was skeptical at first but these fire starters work so well! I was super happy with the purchase and would recommend to anyone who doesn't want to put in too much effort to start a fire. I have one I keep in my first aid kit for hiking as well, just in case.

Great way to light the campfire
We used these on our camping trip this last weekend. They work OK as pre-kindling fire starters but you need to twist or scrunch up several stripps to make that work. They are better as long matches so that you can lean in and light other fire starters. Great to know you are using up what would otherwise be waste materials.

Works great!
These little clothes work great. Almost as well as the bundles of shavings in wax I got elsewhere. The only thing I don't like about them is the need for fabric. I like the idea of using scraps or waste or pine cones for fire starters. That aside, they do work well.
