Useful secondary light. Not perfect
This camping light came showing a 75% charge and took a while to top up to 100%. It's quite a cool white, which I don't find very pleasant to sit in, so it would serve as a utility light for a toilet tent or storage space or as a back-up if a main light discharged, but I will use a warmer white camping light as a preference. The highest light setting is quite bright, so it does what it should on that score, and the range of different settings mean it can be used open or closed as a hanging or table lamp, and you can cycle through the options to switch the centre or wing lights on/off, so don't have to waste energy burning the centre light if it's sitting on a table. The solar panel is small, so I don't know how useful this will be, considering how long mains charging takes (and I wouldn't be able to fairly assess the solar charge at this time of year), but in the height of summer, I won't complain at having some free energy, and if using occasionally in a toilet tent after dark, it's likely that it will draw more power than it uses. When fully charged, the back-up power bank option is a useful feature.

Brilliant
We get a lot of power cuts where we live. This has been brilliant. Not only as a risk free light, instead of candles , but to recharge our phones . We have bought 2 now

Bright LED lamp
This review is for NAKCNM Solar Camping Light, LED Rechargeable Lamp, 1500LM Super Bright USB Foldable Camping Accessories, 6 Light Modes Power Bank Camping Survival Equipment for Emergency Home Outdoor Hiking [Energy Class A+++].I received this to review as part of the vine program. The light on this is very cool white . There are 6 settings and the brightest one is very bright. It took quite a while to fully charge using the usb function – so long that I initially thought it was broken. The solar panel is quite small – I wouldn’t feel comfortable relying on this to charge it if it was my only light source while camping in the middle of nowhere, but as I want it as an emergency power source for the house in case of power cuts, and it will be kept on a sunny windowsill, I am sure it will be perfect for my needs. It is small and compact and emits lots of light. The on switch and usb input are next to each other and are covered with red rubber, presumably to keep rain out if used in an outdoor setting. When I was trying to get access to the usb port I managed to pull the whole rubber piece out and it was quite fidgety to put back in.For the purposes I need it for, I am happy with this.

Battery Never on Full and Runs Down Very Quickly
This is a small and versatile light which can be used in many situations. It barely weighs anything at 250gm and could easily be put into a backpack or picnic basket without adding extra weight or taking up much space. I can carry it in my hand. It feels strong and robust being made of thick plastic. It would be ideal for in the car, for emergencies, on the patio table in the evening, inside a tent and caravanning, for power cuts and more. It can used as it is or folded out to illuminate from above. It's quite bright with the side panels on and folded up, giving out a diffused light which is sufficient to illuminate the area around it. With the panels opened out it produces a stronger, directional light. There is no handle to carry it with. Instead it has a hook to hang it up.It was charged at 50% (two blue lights) from out of the box using the USB cable included. It took a whole six hours to then charge to 100% (four blue lights). Within minutes of use, the battery charge reduced back down to 75% (three blue lights). It then takes another hour at least to charge back to full again. Three indicator lights are on and the fourth continues to flicker to show that it's still in the process of charging up.This light has a charging issue. Now every time I unplug it from the charging cable, the charging lights immediately drop from four to three. This is not great, especially as the battery is also supposed to be able to be used as a power bank to charge say, a phone in emergencies. On full bright mode the light continued to work for five hours. Far from the ten hours stated in the description. The solar panel on the top is really small. It's going to take days of sunshine to charge the battery up from the panel. I think this is more of a gimmick. It would be hard to test this right now as it's still winter and overcast. The description images say that it's weather proof to IP66. This means it should withstand strong jets of water, rather, it should be okay to leave it out in the rain. There's is nothing on the product box to confirm this. It appears to be well sealed. There is a rubberised cover over the on/off/function button and also over the USB A and USB C ports. This is a point of weakness in my opinion. If it's not pushed firmly into place water could easily get inside the charging ports and damage it.It's a neat little light overall, easy to pack and store, and produces a good white light. The battery however, should not be running down so quickly. I have no idea if this is a problem with the product, or I have been unlucky enough to receive a faulty light.

Versatile and just superb!
Word like "camping" and "hiking" come to mind when people see this product, but not for me! For me it was "shed light" as soon as I've seen this!Let me explain....I have a nice and big old type of solid shed at the back of my garden. Too far for me to be dragging mains and doing that, and not great for any kind of battery operated light! What I've needed was something that can be suspended from the middle of shed's roof and yet somehow point the light 180°!This lantern is exactly that!It is bright, has many functions and is rechargable, so after a while I'll just remove it from the shed, charge it and place it back for hours of light! Yes, it has solar charging capabilities, but since I don't have a sky window in the shed, it won't be of much use. It's bright and you can adjust 4 paddle lights on each side to make it illuminate all around you. It's heavy enough and yet lightweight to not buckle under its own weight when suspended.I recommend this item!
