I'm got this for extra heat dissipation. Its basically a small copper rectangle with a sticky pad on one side that pulls heat away from your memoryI clearly did not notice that this was for the smaller M.2 drives. It completely covers the NAND on my WD Blue. More would probably be better but at what point is it a waste? I think it should be fine.The NVME housing is metal and I have it on a fan in front of another fan thats doing double duty for a OWC Express so there is good airflow all around. Again this is just for additional heat dissipation. I'll update the review if I experience some catastrophic failure while playing doom eternal.For $7 bucks I'm happy to have the extra heat dissipation.
