Pretty Awesome
This universal cargo roof rack almost perfectly fit my Subaru Outback. It went together quickly, simply and easily. It mounted quickly and easily. It survived a journey with 80% of stated capacity at full size (full 64" length, 200-lbs of 250 allowed in the cage; over the recommended dynamic capacity of the car's crossbars). There are a few minor issues that you might take into consideration: 1. During assembly, before mounting, the red nameplate bolted to the front is clearly going to cause some buzzing and noise. After mounting and test-driving to get used to empty-cage road noise, yes, the red panel made the expected buzzing sound. Optionally: Unbolt it, remove it. Won't change aerodynamics (probably improve matters). 2. The welds of the smaller cross members at the bottom of the cage, where they connect with the outer frame are not weak, but in some instances incomplete (not a good solid weld of the perpendicular connecting member). Despite this observation, the cage did just fine. I had tarp straps and ratcheting straps pulling on them, in addition to the weigh of the load, including some rough roads, and nothing broke. 3. The U-bolts stick up too far from underneath. I was using heavy-duty plastic boxes, so no holes punctured. This might be good for griping the load that will be pinned down, but if you want to put anything sensitive in the cage, you'll need to ensures the ends of the u-bolts won't damage your stuff. This is probably unavoidable and necessary to accommodate installation and a variety of different cross-bar heights, etc.

Good roof rack. Need to rethink the attachment bolts.
For the price, this seems pretty good. I've used it a few times and it seems to hold a lot of weight and it holds on tight, so I was never concerned about safety or security. The bolts that attach it are not well thought out, so you have exposed bolts sticking into your gear. So if you put a bag up there or anything that can be punctured or ripped, that will definitely happen. Other than that though, it is pretty good roof rack. It seems to be pretty decent quality, and flexible enough to fit multiple solutions.

Works well! Half price of other's, same quality.
On a 2013 base veloster Pics are two mounting positions, two colors. Still need to add your own coat of paint or rubber spray which I will be doing. Already starting to rust upon opening. An effortless $5 can of rustoleum works great. You will hear wind & a lot of things can easily be heard through the veloster anyway. Farther back it's mounted, the less wind you will hear. Assembles very easy, everything lines up. Reflectors not included. May be pointless but I put some on. Would totally buy again.

Must have for traveling
We got this for the top of my Ford Explorer for our snowboarding trip. There were six of us, and we all had our own boards and luggage and it fit on top beautifully. My husband installed it in one night and it only took him about an hour, it was very easy to assemble and mount on the car. i’m so happy with our purchase for the money. It’s so worth it especially if you have a lot to haul, it will hold it! Seems to be a great quality and very sturdy, no fears of it coming off the car. We traveled from Florida to North Carolina and back with its slap full and no issues.

Looked decent, but not durable.
First off, I was missing one little piece for the rack upon opening the package. Spoke to customer service and they were unable to provide that piece but offered an exchange or a credit towards other items in their store (lots to choose from) which was satisfactory for the inconvenience, so im happy with the fast and sufficient response. However. Forst trip with the unit, noticed there were cracks in the bends on the front of the tack frame as I was loading up for vacation. Got about an hour along my route and the vehicle in front started flashing their lights and pointing to the top of my van. Pulled off at the next exit and found that the bag had ripped in the center top of the bag, about softball size, and the internal rubber coating had blown apart covering everything inside the bag, and the wind had ripped several zippers and cloth items inside which had to be replaced upon arrival to our destination. To get where I was going I taped over the hole and cross patterned the rest of the bag, and threw extra ratchet straps over it to keep it as compact and tight as possible, which mostly worked for the remaining 6 hour drive. The bag quality is not great. It took very little to tear it up with nothing sharp or protruding inside the bag (contained duffel bags, infant mattress, and pack and play, all damaged by the wind from the ripped fabric) The rack was easy to put together, aside from the missing piece, and easy enough to install though I would recommend cutting the u-bolts down to prevent damaging the bag or other items you palace in the rack. Biggest concern was the cracks in the bends (and rust after a 4 day trip with a little moderate rain) making me feel like it wouldn't last long without some additional paint or coatings, which shouldn't be needed on a brand new product.

Eh… I mean it’s alright.
Each line corresponds to each picture. The first picture is how I received the package. To me, it looks like the package was shipped with only the two white straps. Which broke mid travel, which is why there is a bunch of tape all over it. Doesn’t ship well. Second picture is alignment issues. I resolved this by spitting on my hands, and bearing down to make them interlock. Nah, I used a ratchet scrap, tighten it down. If there is a will, there is a way. I haven’t been this determined to make something fit since my wedding night. These caps, worthless, it makes tightening everything problematic at best. So I just didn’t use them. It’s suppose to hide the support. Though it would make it look better. I didn’t use them as they were all bent. Maybe because of the way it was shipped. 😏 The last picture is the rack on my Tahoe. I might have went with rack to color match with my Tahoe. Final thought. It’s probably going to rust, the metal was blemished and I became slightly annoyed putting it together. I’m going to use it for traveling, when I’m done I’m going to take it off. My suggestion if you plan on getting this, is after putting it together. Take about 2 cans of plasti dip and coat it.

FLIMSY AND NOT USER FRIENDLY
First off, I have to say that what looked like a simple attachment of the "JUST" the rails alone, I encountered that it was not as easy as it looked. The middle narrow rack that connects to the 2 wider side racks were not aligned at all!!! I had to hammer this so hard with a rubber mallet...that whole process took me more than an hour for what should have been a 2 minutes if at all to connect both sides to that piece. Secondly, after I finally got it all in place and put on my cross bars, the whole middle looked caved in...not a lot but noticeable and bothersome for me to look at that after I spent over 2 hours putting that together and I am very handy with tools and building things so it's not that I didn't know what I was doing. With that said, yes I had and have trouble getting the ratchet straps put on the easy release piece so that I wish would have been pre-installed at the vendors' end because one of the reasons I bought this was because it came with the net and the straps.....I am going away today w/o it so I will have to wait until I come back and have either someone help me out or look at youtube video to learn how to do it. Overall I am disappointed I had to hammer this out to get the pcs to fall in and that afterwards the rack did not looked straight (not because of the hammering)..... the only thing that was hammered were the end pcs to fit in but overall the whole rack looked sunk in. Get yourself a better rack.... I am staying with this garbage because it took me a long time to get it up there and at this point, I don't feel like taking it all apart once I come back from my trip to return it....but I just might if I find the strength!!

Great for value
Sturdy and well made. Holds up well on the highway and easy to assemble. Storage capacity is perfect as well. Recommend this for sure.

Not the greatest quality for the price
Looks real nice but the paint came chipped and looks a bit rusty already. Also hums and rattles in the wind. I'll have to customize it quite a bit to bring it to where ill be happy with it.
