The Price: What It Takes to Win in College Football's Era of Chaos

Wow, this book left me stunned, excited, and bewildered for what has transpired and is to come in the world of big time college football. Talty has a way with words unseen since the writings of Shakespeare - weaving different perspectives in and out to tell a comprehensive story. You can just tell the access he has is incomparable in the industry. I give this book 5 stars, my highest recommendation, and implore all sports fans and non sports fans alike to give it a read.

The Price is a compelling and excellently written book summarizing the dynamic and complex world of College Football. It’s an enjoyable, easy read (I breezed through it in a couple of days), and walked away with a much better understanding and appreciation for the behind the scenes world that make up the most popular sport in America. Highly recommend for anyone interested in college football, coaching, or generally the intersection of competing power interests in a dog eat dog world.
