This is about Caroline’s journey to finding her true love. To finish that journey she needs to come to some self self realizations about what she felt she wanted and what she really wanted

Sweet friends to lover story. The author doesn’t rush the development and progression of the characters. The story has a good natural flow to it and the characters are relatable in their flaws.

This book is third in the series and although I have not read the first two, I didn’t feel like it affected the story line. There are references to the first books, and it did feel like I missed something in the comments made, but does not interfere with the current characters experiences.The book is of a young woman Caroline, who has always wanted to marry a titled gentleman who could lavish her with the finest things life has to offer. She has a dear childhood friend Arthur, who has been in love with her as long as he can remember but can never meet her expectations in title or money.Caroline’s third season realizations, changes the dynamics of the friendship. When this happened it seemed to take Arthur to extremes past who he previously was described as. It felt a bit stretched and unnatural. Caroline, on the other hand, grew from her awakening and became a better person than who she started out as. It was a very entertaining story with a lovely epilogue to not only tie up loose ends but allows enough time to pass that the next story in the series can begin. Without giving the story away I can honestly say “ Thank goodness for brothers!”.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I enjoyed the journey of Caroline and Arthur. Being friends since their youth, can it or will it change to something more.

I really enjoyed visiting the Harcourt family again! I love these characters and it was fun to read Caroline's story. This is a sweet friends to lovers romance as best friends Caroline and Arthur realize true love may have been in front of them the whole time. The beginning was a little repetitive, but once the London season started, the plot seemed to move along and I was intrigued to find out what challenges the two would face. I only wish we could have seen them kiss earlier in the book! I am excited for the next book and hope it will be Patrick's story.I received a complimentary copy of the book but a positive review was not required.

I only got part of the way through it. I found it dull. I hate to say such a thing when an author has spent so much time writing the book, but that's the truth. It could have been done in an interesting, humorous way, but not only was the ending a given from the start (they invariably are) but the journey was - dull.
