The moisturizers are effective. I have been using them about 2 weeks and can feel a difference in the texture of my skin. It is smoother, less crepey, and perhaps firmer. The price for two 1 LB bottles is reasonable compare to lotions like Gold Bond, and I do not need to use more than one pump to cover my skin so the bottle should last a while. I would take a half star off because the smell, as others have mentioned. It isn't fresh or clean....it's just odd and off-putting. I layer the lotions with another scented lotion or essential oil. I may try to mix a few drops of essential oil to see if that works without diminishing the effectiveness of the lotion.

I love how much product you get and the price point so I use them every other night on my BODY to get rid of discoloration & hyperpigmentation. I’m Indian & quite tan so big bites always leave the worse marks on me during & after summer but this gets my skin clear and even again by spring (only for the cycle to restart but that’s mother nature lol). I use retinol one night. nothing the second night and then the glycolic acid the third night and keep cycling like that. I took a star off because I don’t like the texture and smell of the glycolic. I wish it was thinner and less artificial smelling but that just maybe be how the acid smells in all products and I’m just personally sensitive to it. I’m not exactly sure but the texture can def be smoother! just wish it was less sticky on the skin. the retinol does not have that issue!

I'm really impressed with this set of skincare products. This 'Advanced Clinicals' set comes with 2 large jars (with a convenient push-pump top) of skincare creams that target certain areas and provide possible benefits to the skin. One jar is the Retinol Body lotion; I find it to be pleasant and so far has added moisture and some slight firming of skin. I like that this is gentle on my skin, and hasn't caused me any issues to my sensitive skin. This also includes Vitamin E, green tea, and aloe vera. The other jar has 10% Glycolic Acid & Lactic Acid, which acts as an exfoliating type body cream. There is also Vitamin E and other beneficial ingredients in this product, and has helped smooth out my skin. I like that both this and the former product are fragrance-free, and this too is gentle on my sensitive skin. I think these 2 products work well alone, but also very well together. The set is very affordable (in my personal opinion), as the 2 large sized jars together are around $29, and they'll last me a long time. I'm very happy with the positive effects I've seen already, and can't wait to see what other effects I'll see long-term. I love these, and am highly satisfied with each product. 😊

This is my second time trying products from Advanced Clinicals and I continue to be impressed. This set of two different body lotions is excellent. I've been alternating lotions and they both work amazingly well. I'd say the retinol lotion is slightly lighter than the glycolic acid lotion, but they're both deeply moisturizing and they absorb quickly. I also like that they are both unscented. These make my skin feel so soft and so smooth. I use them all over after my shower. I also use them on my hands throughout the day. Both lotions work just as well as much pricier hand creams I've tried. I haven't tried these on my face because I I have other products that I use, but I don't see what you couldn't. These are large containers--16 ounces each, so they will last a long time.
