Perfect seating option for a small lanai or patio. When the recliner is in upright position it takes as much space as a normal chair. As you lean back the foot rest comes up to support your legs. I did find that I didn't have enough lumbar support. However. the fabric is so comfortable that I really didn't need a head pillow so, voila!, I'm using the detachable pillow as a lumbar support.This chair is all about options. Lots of positions from sitting upright to reclining. The position is easily locked when you find your sweet spot. I have an adjustable bed and a bad back so I'm used to the zero gravity feature. That was one of the biggest selling points when I looked at recliners.I was concerned about how much visual space a recliner would take up in my limited space. Try almost zip, nada. The fabric is sturdy but virtually transparent like a sunshade. You can see right thru. This was so unexpected and a visual delight. I love the seigle color (French for "rye").My style is minimalist contemporary. It's like someone designed this chair just for me. There is a 2 year warranty so I'm glad I didn't pay for extra coverage. I bought 2 chairs. One arrived in 3 days. The 2nd should be here in 5 days. The chair was easy to unpack and intuitive to set up. No assembly required.I almost forgot to mention that the recliner easily folds up if you need to get it out of the way. It's not compact enough for the beach (in my opinion) but I bought it to use in my home. As I write this we are anticipating a possible hurricane. If you've ever had to lug all your outdoor furniture into your indoor living space then you know how happy I am that I can fold my recliners and lean against a wall taking up minimal space.I also love that this chair is still made in France and that it sells at a very reasonable price point. I'll update the review for sturdiness after I've had it for a while

I bought this chair because I was looking for a comfortable chair for resting and reading on the deck.Back and hand issues are ongoing problems so I find regular deck chairs uncomfortable after a short period of time.Initially it was difficult to open the chair but it became easier after being used for a while (that is why I gave it a 4).The actual comfort of the chair is a 5.I even brought the chair in last winter and set it up in a room inside where I would go to read when my back was hurting and it was just the chair I needed.

The chair is so comfortable that my husband fell asleep in less than 15 minutes. It is sleek and looks great on our balcony. About to order one for me.

This chair is designed for smaller person - I'm 5'7", 200 pounds and this chair is too narrow.They state and show in picture that the width is 32.6" and depth is 27.6".However, the chair is 27.6" wide and 32.6" deep.The actual seat is 19".The worse part is that the bars that come up just below the arm rests are set into the leg portion of the chair and jab into my tighs. I had to cover with foam.I also covered the arms with foam bc the chair is so narrow that they became uncomfortable.Also, the plastic on the foot rest cracked after about a month. I duck taped that. It was too hard anyway, so the tape added a little cushion, lol.

So easy to fall asleep in or relax and read. It’s the best chair. So comfortable

Je me suis procuré une première chaise "Lafuma Zéro Gravité " en 2006. Compte tenu de la qualité et de la durabilité de cette marque, je ne pouvais pas en changer.

Arrivé avec une égratignure au cadre , je vais mettre un peu de peinture moi-même, merveilleux pour personne de 6’ et plus pour la xl ! Excellent service avec Spreetail CA merci

Super confortable et légère.

After a long and hard research, I decided to take a risk to purchase this chair. I use it everyday, worth it. Love the fabric, color, and convenient storage. The reason for four stars is that in its chair position, the back is not comfortable. My head is forced to tilt forward. But, in other lying positions, it's good. I wouldn't buy another, one is enough for its imperfection.
