I really wasn't expecting much of this when I purchased it, but have been delighted by it! Lots of content on this dvd, with the extras, I am pleasantly surprised, it's rare you get much for your money now adays. Great live performances at the end, and the 19 videos are carefully picked to show Janet's style diversity over the years. Great collection!

Excellent product. Janet's finest hit videos. I was disappointed with the "Someone to call my Lover" vid and song cos it's not the popular version people know & love. That's my only criticism of this dvd tho. Everything else was bang on.

Some of her best songs, worth the price, very enjoyable.

Janet Jackson videos from the 1993, 1997, 2001 and 2004 albums are all here. Included are such classics as That’s the Way Love Goes and Again from “Janet” album, Got ‘Til It’s Gone and Together Again off “The Velvet Rope”, All for You from the eponymous LP and I Want You off “Damita Jo”. And even the lesser album tracks, for which videos were shot, have not been omitted - of these, notable are Any Time, Any Place off "Janet", You from “The Velvet Rope” and Son of a Gun in the Missy Elliott version. However, as good as this mix may be, missed are the videos from in between main albums, which would certainly fit well into the disc. So if you are looking for Runaway, Whoops Now or Doesn’t Really Matter, look elsewhere.Bonuses are also worth checking out, especially from Ryan Seacrest TV specials. Overall, a very representative collection from one of the showbiz's (deservedly) most durable artists.

I was bored watching it. She is not particularly talented. Mediocre songs (except maybe three), mediocre music videos.Million miles away from her brother, Michael Jackson, who is my No.1 entertainer.Basically, she was, is riding on MJ`s back.DVD went in the bin as I do not desire watching it ever again.

Arrived on time in brilliant condition. Love this compilation dvd.

Hallo liebe Janet Fans...wie es der Titel schon sagt: from Janet - Damita Jo....und genau diese Videos sind hier auf der DVD vertreten.... ich glaube, für eine K O M P L E T T E Complilation auf Blu Ray oder DVD reicht es wohl nie... und das liegt wohl an den Plattenfirmen bzw den Labels, das die nicht mal eine DVD - Blu Ray mit allen Videos rausbringen können...schade,aber ich muß gestehen, das hier ist wirklich eine schöne DVD, mit wirklich vielen Clips drauf....man kann ja am Bild sehen,was drauf gepackt wurde, aber, je neuer die Clips werden, desto mehr Farbe und Kitsch ist in den Videos vorhanden.Ihre Glanzzeiten sind wohl eindeutig vorbei- muß man ja leider so sagen...was waren das noch für super clips zu Zeiten von Rhythem Nation 1814 uswJanet scheint satt zu sein... nichts desto trotz sind ihre Songs einfach hamma mäßig... immer toll, immer neu, immer was anderes, und diese DVD gehört eindeutig in jedes DVD Regal als Janet FanDrauf ist auch noch ein Making off, was ziemlich flach ist...muß man nicht gesehen haben....ein paar Live Auftritte von ihr- das ist schon was... ganz tollund was mir am besten gefallen hat, - muß ich ja gestehen- da war ein Auftritt in einer TV Show, wo man eine Freundinn von Janet von früheren Zeiten aufgegabelt hatte... sehr emotional.. ganz großes Kino... und das alles mit DEUTSCHEN UNTERTITELN.....Fazit: es fehlen hier mal wieder ein paar nicht unbedeutende Videos wie:Doesn't Really MatterScream24 playwhoops now und noch so ein paar andere mehr, die eigentlich mit auf diese Complilation drauf gemußt hätten....was mich auch noch stört ist : someone to call my lover.... da haben se das video zwar drauf gepackt aber in einem anderen Mix... hört sich zwar net schlecht an, aber wer die Radio Version kennt, möchte doch lieber diese Version hören...Warum das gemacht wurde, ist mir echt schleierhaft...Die Extras sind auch net schlecht, und der Preis - man muß ja bedenken, das diese DVD schon 2004 rauskam also 8 Jahre alt ist, angemessen....von daher eine Kaufempfehlung für jeden Janet Fan....und wer noch nix von Janet auf Videos hat, empfehle ich ganz klar diese DVD und die Design of the Decade DVD , dann hat man im Prinzip fast alles auf DVD was man käuflich bekommen kann....

Seit ich Janet's Video zu "Rhythm Nation" das erste Mal 1990 auf MTV sah, bin ich ein großer Fan. Nicht nur, daß ich mir sämtliche ihrer Videos damals aufzeichnete und (versuchte) nachzutanzen - sie waren auch von der Aufmachung (Kulissen, Bildqualität, Choreographien, etc.) ein wahrer Augenschmaus; eben Michaels kleine Schwester.Umso mehr habe ich mich gefreut, als ich diese DVD mit Videos aus Janets erfolgreichsten Jahren bei Amazon entdeckt habe. Die Bestellung war demnach gleich getätigt und die DVD nach Lieferung gleich in den Player geschoben. Und: Ich wurde nicht enttäuscht! Endlich eine Sammlung aller relevanten Janet-Videos von 1993 bis 2004 auf einer DVD versammelt.Großes Lob an die übersichtliche Aufmachung mit Infos über die Regisseure und welchem Album das einzelne Video entlehnt ist.Schön ist auch, daß das Schrift-Design dem Stil des jeweiligen Albums angelehnt ist. Für Fans ein toller Bonus ist das Interview zu "Damita Jo".Man wünscht sich, daß mehr Künstler ihre Videos auf solchen Collections versammeln würden und die Gestaltung ähnlich mit Liebe zum Detail gemacht wäre.Einziges Manko:Das Fehlen des Original-Videos zu "Just a little while" und des Tour-Videos von "What'll I do" aus dem JANET-Album. Im Gegenzug hätte man auf "You" verzichten können.Die insgesamt tolle DVD macht dies allerdings mehr als wett - fünf Sterne deluxe.

Gros contrat et gros succes puisque c'est a cette epoque qu'elle sort l'album Janet, un gros succes mondial qui est suivi par un best of et le plus reussi des albums en 97 the velvet rope. From janet to damita jo reuni tous les meilleurs videos de janet de cette grande periode et bien sur les clips de l'album all for you et aussi du dernier opus damita jo.C'est un veritable voyage dans l'univers coloré de Janet. A travers ses clips on voit Janet evoluer et montrer qu'elle est une grande star de la musique contemporaine. Elle est a son aise aussi bien dans la musique rnb funk hip hop. Il y a aussi des remixes et des videos que l'on a tres peu vu en france comme le remix de together again. Il manque et c'est c'est surement de la responsabilité du staff de virgin qui manque un peu d'imagination les videos de doesn't really matter et des inedits comme twenty four play. Des trucs que on aurait aimé decouvrir sur ce dvd.Sinon c'est bon de revoir janet en video c'est deja pas mal. En tout cas le son dechire et les nouveaux clips de all nite i want you et just a little while (enfin un live )ACHETEZ LE KAN MEME POUR JANET
