Now and again you come across a product that beats expectation - and this is it. I bought a number of these to go on a balcony stainless steel railing not expecting huge quality over similar items I had bought for the side wall to the back of my house.But when I opened these up I was very pleased to see that they are really well made with a sold feel to them and a well machined finish and fittings. In fact the quality is way better than my last ones yet they are the same price.So if you are looking for this type of outside light then look no further. Properly good quality at a great price. You will need to buy lamps though as these are bare supply. I used LED GU10's .Overall highly recommended.

Look great and do the job required, been installed for a week and appear to be standing up to the cold wet weather well. Spent quite a bit of time looking for these and for the price are a good deal.

I already have similar up and down lighter lamps on the front of my house. This was wanted so I could have a matching light on the house side to shine down to illuminate a stair case but to shine down only and not up onto house windows.First impression was good solid construction and installation was easy and straightforward. On this type of lamp it can be hard to fit and remove GU10 bulbs but this one came with a rubber sucker to hold the front of the bulb while fitting. Very easy and end result matches the rest of the outside lighting. I will be buying more for the rear wall now.All my outside lights are wired via one dusk to dawn sensor fitted where it is not affected by other lighting so lights reliably stay on all night but turn off in daylight.Finally the solidly made outer cover and lens fits firmly over the body resulting in a strong and smart job. I use LED bulbs in all my lighting and this one is no exception. I find they are particularly good for outside lights as temperature changes on halogen lamps seems to result in their early failure. In more than three years I have never had any LED fail inside or outside the house.I find reviews help my buying decisions. If this help s you please click the ‘Helpful’ button. Lovely quality light and very good value for money. My electrician commented on how well made the lights were and they had sufficient space in the back for wiring the terminal blocks.

Feels solid and wellmade. Good value at £10.99. The screws on the connecting block do up nice and tight... the kind of thing that gets skimped on with economy products. Put a bit of sealant round the back just to be sure it's waterproof. All fine .. Looks nice too!!

This downlight works well if you have limited installation space as I had - just a narrow uPVC panel between windows. Throws a small but adequate pool of light. Would look good in a row.

Complies with description with an identical unit functional & in great condition after three year outside usage. No problems & first class service.
