It’s creamy, cheesy, and has just enough basil to give it that pesto vibe without being too strong. Great on pasta when you need something quick, and it actually sticks to the noodles well. I added grilled chicken and spinach, and it came together fast and tasted homemade-ish. Could use a little more garlic or depth, but for a jarred sauce, it’s solid. I’d buy it again for an easy weeknight meal.

I like this creamy sauce because it doesn't have that fake sweet nutmeg flavor that many jarred creamy sauces like Alfredo versions have. Has a pretty good Parmesan flavor and little basil flavor which is also good because I hate dried basil. That being said the jar is a few ounces short of properly coating a pound of pasta. I also use this as a sandwich spread instead of mayonnaise and it really boosted the flavor. Other uses is as a sauce for baked chicken parts or skinned breast and use in creamed spinach.

This is a good basic parmesan pesto. Not fancy, but I didn't pay enough for fancy. My one and only complaint is with the Best By date on the jar. I assume it's a misprint because Oct 11 2023 is more than six months before the product launched. I realize this year has been a long decade, but come on.

This is sort of light on the pesto component and overpowered by the parm.
