Recently changed to a newer phone that uses USB-C, so I had to replace my old lightning splitter from a different company.I've used it for a few days, and it has been working just fine. The audio quality is good, it plugs in snugly, and keeps the charge in my phone topped off while using maps and listening to music or audiobooks. It's also nice that since USB-C is being used by almost everything, it works for any of my passengers on a road trip if we're listening to their stuff instead.My cranky old pickup truck doesn't have a fancy infotainment system, but this lets me listen using my aux cable, keeps my phone going, and honestly that's all I need.It doesn't feel cheaply made...the connections are solid, and I feel that I got my money's worth out of it.

I just upgraded my studio iPad to the new (2025) iPad Air. For my music studio application, it is important that the iPad not deplete its battery in the middle of a session, so I need it to be continually connected to power. Also, because I am using its Bluetooth for WIDI- control purposes, I need to get the audio out from the USB-C port, because these new iDevices no longer have phone jacks. I thought it would be a simple process to find an adapter that passed through the audio from the USB port and also allowed the iPad to be plugged into a charger. Looking for such a device on Amazon, I found that almost all of the offerings had negative reviews that suggested that they could not simultaneously allow charging while passing audio, or that when a charger was connected the audio was seriously distorted. I purchased this UGreen adapter on the hunch that it would work as advertised. To my complete satisfaction, this adapter happily charged the iPad when connected to an Anker 30W wall-plug power supply, while it simultaneously provided pristine stereo audio to my audio interface (and DAW). So, if you have a modern Apple iDevice with a USB-C jack, this item WILL work for you.

Works perfectly but note that audio quality is not native quality through one of these devices. The magnets are a nice feature.

Aside from a slight difference in volume (it's a little quieter when connected to the AUX port in my car, which isnt an issue), it works pretty well. I've experienced no feedback or hum. Plugging and unplugging is easy, and it's a stable connection amd not flimsy in the port on my phone (I have a Samsung Galaxy). Good purchase!

I get noise/feedback from the car engine if the charger and aux cable are plugged in to this adapter, but the adapter is NOT plugged in to the phone. If I plug it in to the phone, or unplug the charger cable, then the noise goes away. The audio quality is like a 7/10, mostly good but I felt is was lacking in some low end compared to my old essential phone audio adapter.Edit: the adapter only works inconsistently and stopped working at all after 6 months!

This is an interesting example of a dongle that was designed for a particular use. As it allows charging it is perfect for road trips when you want to listen to music and use waze, google maps or other programs that consume battery life. It is well-built and designed--it's neat when it snaps together! It feels robust and high-quality, especially for the price.These measurements were taken with a Google Pixel 6A as the source. (As it is not isolated the results are of the dongle + source, but it represents real world use.) I measured max output voltage at 1V.These results are comparable to the celebrated Apple USB-C dongle. However you don't want to use that in a car! It's not state of the art but is it no slouch either. Cars are so noisy that these results go to waste but rest assured that even at home these will not color your music.In all, a very good dongle in 2024 and an excellent one for car use.

Works as intended and no loss is audio quality

No static connection interference sounds - clear sound. Sturdy wire. Bought 2 of them. Worth the money.I hope this helps
