Loved it. Fun for kids. Great size pack for beginners

I bought this for my niece (10), and she loved it. So did I! We used a marker to trace the dress pattern onto the material. We used a cake board underneath to keep the marker from marking up the table. You’ll need scissors that will cut the material, and although it came with two sided tape, I found that some glue dots that I had on hand worked better. The backing on the included tape was difficult to remove. This set had lots of beautiful materials, bows, and ribbons to choose from. No real sewing was required, but if you wanted to teach a simple straight stitch, this would be a great place to start. What a wonderful set to use to teach basic sewing techniques and design concepts! However, that doesn’t have to be the focus at all. Kids and adults will enjoy playing with this set.

Nice gift for a 7 year old girl who is very into Barbies and fashion

My child had a great time designing outfits, using the variety of pieces, and trying them on the mannequins. It kept her engaged for quiet a while day 1 and encouraged thinking and fine motor skills. The only reason I’m giving four stars is that some of the smaller pieces are a bit tricky to handle and can get lost easily as they just come in a plastic bag which when opened, is useless so they float around the box freely. Otherwise, it’s a great value for hours of imaginative play and makes a wonderful birthday gift.

So many many materials, it has a great range from beginner to more advanced. The material is a good variety of colors, thickness, size, patterns. Once my granddaughter figured out how to do it her creativity soard, the only problem was she wanted to sew each piece to have it for her Barbies. Didn't come with sewing kit. But if you want to just make outfits then do it again this is perfect. The dress dolls are made with good plastic that seems pretty durable.

My daughter absolutely loves this doll dress-making kit! She’s obsessed with all the different fabrics and loves creating new outfits for her dolls. I guess it’s time for me to learn how to sew so she can keep making even more. Such a great way to spark creativity and keep her busy!

Very nice, but you can't sew it once you create it, so you have to undo it. That part my daughter didn't like...
