I don't usually write reviews but here I have to. Well, I was a bit sceptical (tried it on old wire first.... really very sceptical) but all I can say after using it is..... AMAZED. It indeed does shrink over 4 times. There was a thinner wire (the USB-C) where I simply pressed on the tubing while it was hot and when it cooled it was significantly over 4 times. The heat activated inner glue really sticks in place and seals the joint. Have a look at those 2.... both done with 12mm tubing and on both the connections were almost totally broken off (I actually bought it for the DELL, the larger one, because replacing is very expensive)..... and I have to say THANK YOU FOR QUALITY !!!!!! Heated using a lighter and it did not damage the plastic at all...... just kept on shrinking and shrinking. Look at the pictures pre-heated, on the thicker DELL and the small USB-C connection.... and you get 2 METERS of the tube for this price !!!

Arrived same day as it should. This allowed me to affect my repair and get my pump working again. The product is quite thick, which installs confidence and it shrinks rapidly down to make a good seal. Very happy with it.

First thing I'll say is that I like two factors about this item; it shrinks well and it contains a glue that seals in too. It's really rather good stuff. I've used loads of heatshrink over the years, nearly all of it standard stuff with no sealant inside, but this one has a glue that melts then sets to seal the insides. It's quite tough stuff too, being thicker and more robust than standard stuff, so I reckon ideal for outdoor sealing of stuff like cable joints and such. The only thing is that you'd have to remove the glue if you ever need to remove this stuff later in its life! Not looking forward to that so much, as it does seal and stick really well! Overall quite impressive stuff, it shrinks a lot, stays strong, seals and sticks really well.

excellent quality. I was a bit skeptical about the claimed 4:1 shrinkage ratio but it more than achieves it. Its also surprisingly thick and so presumably pretty tough. coupled with the hot melt glue on the inside it makes a very robust job.

Does what says on the tin so to speak. I used to form a good seal on the junction of two pipes that slide together but are a loose fit.

The heat shrink tubing works great. I used it on an E-bike conversion.
