Clean the GUNK off
I have a microscope that has a Video screen on it and once I got it out of the box and was using it, there was gunk on the sensor. I tried a few tricks to get it clean and did not have any success. Well Not long after getting it I got some long foam swabs. But was afraid to use them to clean it. Then I seen this and knew I needed it as it helps clean up Sensors. I opened the box and went to town, For about 3 seconds the swabs that came with the kit were too wide. Never fear I had ones from a previous purchase. They fit fine and in combination with the cleaning solution and my swabs the gunk was gone. Sadly I didn't think to take any pictures and Im sorry .. I was excited and was so super happy to have it finally working as I love microscopes. But It did clean the sensor and it did take a few wipes as what was on there must have been like a grease. So now have a clean sensor because this was the right liquid to clean it . what I tried before didn't make it much better than it was before the cleaning solution. So was kinda at my wits end and its a nice scope too. So this resurrected it and I know when it's time to clean my sensors on my cameras This is what I reaching for.

Worked great and saved my butt.
There it was when I looked at my pictures transferred to my computer, a large dark area, not black, but gray and highly noticeable. How could this have happened so soon after I purchase this new camera? I knew I had to order a kit and this one was reasonably priced considering the heartstopping cost of my camera body and lens. When I cleaned off my sensor, I was figuratively sweating bullets. I had just bought a full frame, very high resolution, digital camera, a non-reflex one and I was not used to the idea that the sensor would be so exposed when I changed lenses. I hadn’t learned how to have the shutter closed down every time you shut down the camera. When I first wiped it out down, the spot did not come out and I thought for certain I had scratched the sensor… Heaven help me with that would have to repair. On the second wipe though, it all came clean. The lesson I’d like to share is if your camera has a shutter that can close, make sure that it’s engaged. In older days of reflex style cameras, the sensors were pretty far back from the lens opening, with a mirror and shutter screen in the way. But with modern camera/lens arrangements, it’s right upfront and quite vulnerable. I was surprised that Sony didn’t have this shutter set to be closed when the cameras shut down, but after drowning myself in menus, I was able to locate that function. Whew! This tool is not optional in my estimation if you are anything but a naïve and hyper optimistic photographer, something will be happening to your sensor at some point and this is the solution generally.Order your kit and keep it on hand so that you don’t have to wait anxiously for it to arrive and save YOUR tush,

The “dropper” pours out like a funnel.
This had to be one of the single most stressful experiences I’ve ever had with my camera. The dropper would simply squirt out large amounts of the cleaning liquid which in turn caused massive residual buildups on my camera sensor. I could not get it to do only two drops no matter how hard I tried. About three of the six swabs were immediately ruined, which is extremely stressful when you only have six. To add to the stress despite the swab size being the correct one for my camera there is just enough missing width that it guaranteed that my sensor never had full coverage leading to massive streaks. A lot of people swear by this product so this is by no means a definitive review of the quality of the product but I am extremely upset with my own personal experience and I currently doubt that I will be purchasing again after this experience.
