Comfortable wide shoes. Appear to be well made and are definitely wide enough for my wide feet.

Comfortable and good fit.

So I'm at that age where I have my first bunion and these are officially my introduction to Old People Shoes. I never thought it would happen so young. These definitely improve my foot comfort. I've worn them almost daily for 6 months. The soles are starting to come off the shoes, so I ordered a replacement pair. I was hoping that they would last longer but this is the world we live in. I do hike in them daily. Short distances, but over rugged and rocky terrain, forested areas, and of course more urban and rural landscapes as well. They are practically waterproof, and have a pretty good grip on wet rocks. They are really easy to put on and take off and require very little time to break them in. These would probably be a 5 star product if they lasted longer.

I just sent the shoes back. They were nice, but they were the wrong size. I ordered size 14 extra wide, but received size 13 regular width.

I am absolutely and totally disappointed in the claim made that these shoes are "waterproof." They are not waterproof by any definition of the word. Not even close. The good: I ordered a wide size that was not wide enough. They were easily replaced with an extra wide pair which fit well. The bad: I wore them for about two hours indoors yesterday to test the fit and feel. Today I wore them outside while walking my dog in a grassy field. It has not rained here in more than a week. The grass was wet with dew. After walking my dog and later wearing them for two hours while walking in grass my toes were soaked. Two hours and my toes were soaked. Hence my disappointment. They are clearly not "waterproof." This is no way to do business successfully/ I cannot adequately express my disappointment at the representation of these shoes in the listing: "FitVille Men's Extra Wide Hiking Shoes Rugged Core Waterproof, with Arch Support, for Heel Pain Relief, Outdoor Walking Shoes, Work Shoes, Low-top, Soft Toe"

These are very comfortable shoes. I wear them as work shoes, and will buy again. My disappointment is that they did not last quite a year and the threading at the toe has began to come apart. A year for a pair of work shoes is not bad, but wish they would have lasted longer as even the sole of the shoes does not appear to have much wear.

These were by far my favorite in terms of treadwear compared to my other fitville shoes. My job requires me to walk a lot. As for slip resistance, I advise being careful around water—they lose traction when wet. They’re still holding up well. We’re gut of the shoe is ok. They do have nice toe room. The only downside is that after a few months of wearing them, I started developing hip pain, so unfortunately I’ll have to set them aside. I’m also disappointed because this brand had always treated me right in the past, even sending me another pair of these shoes. I haven’t worn the replacement yet, but with this pain I doubt I will. I hope this helps someone out there make a decision. For reference, I wear these shoes about 8 hours a day. Update: fitville has reached out to me and is taking care of me and making sure my experience with them is a pleasant one which is why I went from 3 star to 5.

Excellent walking shoes. Been wearing them for years. Still good and comfortable.

Ich habe nun schon das dritte Paar dieser Wanderschuhe erworben. Die Schuhe sind durch das Obermaterial (PU-Leder) wasserdicht und deshalb auch bei regennassem Wetter erste Wahl. Sie nehmen kaum Schmutz an und sind sehr pflegeleicht. Das recht weiche und trotzdem „griffige“ Innenmaterial gibt Kälte keine Chance. Die Schuhe sind sehr viel leichter als klassische Leder-Wanderschuhe, und die Zehen haben genügend Platz. Trotz der großzügigen Passform drohen keine Blasen.

Fitville shoes are comfortable. Great value
