What is the actual diameter of the 6Qt stockpot (without handles)? The dimensions listed by Amazon seem to be a little off.

The top lip of the pot is rolled so the outside edge to edge measurement is 11 1/4 inches. The interior wall to wall measure is 10 1/2 inches. The bottom diameter of the pot is approximately 9 1/2 inches before the flat bottom begins to curve up to become the sides. For this pot I usually use the 11 inch "circle" on my induction stovetop but the 8 1/4 circle works just fine also.

Is this 6Qt stockpot made in USA Pa?

Yes. The 7 quart stockpot is also made in the USA

Confused - Amazon title says it's 4506 but mfr's description calls it D3. Did they rename after class action suit?

I am "affected party" (lol) in that suit and I don't think it has been finalized yet. I believe the court is going to act on something this February or March but I haven't been contacted further or received anything. In any case, I recall there have been at least two levels of "quality", D3 and the premium grade, D5. D5 had more layers of kryptonite and rare earth metals and so forth. (I have the D3 pot) All Clad announced that D5 has been discontinued. Haven't heard if they were going to offer a new premium line.

Fantastic quality casserole with All Clad quality. It's hard to find this brand in Spain so I was glad to be able to buy this here. My oldest All Clad pan is approaching 20 years of service and it still looks great.

Aufgrund des ausgezeichneten Renommees dieser Marke habe ich mir als ambitionierter Hobbykoch schon vier Artikel gekauft. Zwei Pfannen und zwei Töpfe. Auf den ersten Blick machen die Artikel, wie auch dieser Topf, einen guten Eindruck. Leider besitzen sie zum Teil nicht die Qualität, derer sich die Marke rühmt. Insbesondere dieser Topf ist ein Beispiel dafür: Nachdem ich ihn ausgepackt hatte, entdeckte ich eine kleine Delle am Topfrand. Ich habe dann hart mit mir gerungen, ob das alleine, trotz des hohen Preises, eine aufwändige Rücksendung rechtfertigen würde. Also stellte ich ihn zunächst in den Schrank. Beim nächsten Hervorholen stellte ich jedoch auch noch fest, dass die Griffe nicht mal auf gleicher Höhe aufgesetzt waren. Das ist meiner Meinung nach schon ein starkes Stück. In der Preisklasse, bei dem angeblichen Verarbeitungsniveau. Werde den Topf zurückschicken.
