I got what I wanted from this book and much more! I will definitely read this book over and over again and use it as my training manual for my leaders.

This is a great starter book on BAM (business as mission). It helps give you a solid biblical foundation for business and BAM specifically, while also giving you ideas for next actions to take. I would highly encourage you to read this short book on BAM to see what God is doing through business being done for His glory all around the world. Never judge a book by its COVER, aptly applies to this book. It lacks the soul and spirit. Bored to read after few chapters...

I guess I was hoping for something more practical. Ideas in how to apply bibical principals to the nuts and bolts of business. eg. how does BAM effect HR, recruiting, advertising, employee retention, profit sharing, board selection, going public and so on.I found the defense of business using proof texts a bit elementary. I guess it must be necessary for those who think business and Christianity can't mix. I haven't finished the book yet though

Great overview and solid case for rethinking business and enterprise not just as a tool in mission, but as a place of mission.

I really liked the clear straightforward teaching that business is good and should be used to glorify God. I'm encouraged to see how often Christians are able to better relate to unbelievers through doing business with them. It's good to do business for the glory of God!
