Effect Moisturizer; not sure about the bottle and perfume
On my super dry, itchy, eczema prone skin I try a lot moisturizers - and vary them regularly. I didnt try the oil on my hair at all. Out of the box the Malée Verdure oil; comes in a nice looking textured glass bottle. I just dont like having glass in my bathroom; in this case its worse you are going to get this oil on your hand making it slick whilst still trying to hold onto the glass bottle. There is texture which gives you grip but the risk is always there.Like the rest of the packaging the experience of getting the oil out of the bottle has been engineered to make it seem precious; the oil is retained by a small drip hole - there isn't a vent hole so you either need patience to extract the oil or you have shake to get the oil quickly (remeber glass + oily hands.) As an oil though so 3-4 drops quikcly covered my hands, far less than a cream would need, but if you are using it on a wider area it is infuriating. For quickly calming itchy dry skin; applying oil to skin is the fastest way to do it - and generally offers long lasting relief. The Verdure oil achieves that - and unlike a bath emolient doesnt result in a bathtub scrubbing session. The verdure oil works best coming out of the bath or shower. Though onto dry skin it does make your skin look oily; using it before bed the sheen is gone in the morning. The Verdure oil isnt absorbed quickly into the skin like creams. The upside is the barrier lets your skin develop its own moisture too.The Verdure oil itself is non mineral and made from a number of nuts and other plant oils; its nice and smooth - it isnt a tacky oil; and didnt have any haze in it. Frustratingly for me verdure has a light citrus scent which comes from added perfume rather than the ingredients; generally this isnt a good thing - and i wish they werent there - but it didnt seem to irritate my skin. The scent is nice; and if you are lucky enough to have tolerant skin its similar to verbena type shampoo's only its not in your nostrils strong; which is maybe why so far it hasnt caused a breakout.Malée Verdure Moisturising Oil is a mixed bag for me; and that is why im only giving 3*'s. I dont like holding a glass bottle with oily hands in my bathroom; that is a recipe for disaster for someone. That it hasnt triggered any allergies for me is a positive; especially as it has provided itch relief at night. As a moisturiser it is effective; but it isnt a stand out against other oils.

Moisturiser to Refresh Your Body
This moisturiser is made in the UK by a company that doesn't test on animals.Vendure is inspired by Africa's wetlands on a dewy morning, which I suppose is not too different to a rainy cold day in England, apart from the wildlife, fresh air, and relaxing atmosphere!Apparently this is for men and women. Although the moisturiser feels good and smells alright, I tend to be comfortable with a cheap bottle of aftershave lotion. I would tend to stay away from this as it is just too expensive. On the other hand my wife likes the understated clean design and that her sensitive skin doesn't react to the oil.A potent blend of natural sweet almond oil, coconut oil, argan oil and rosehip oil. It is a non greasy formula with essential oil notes of citrus, mint and Patchouli. Sounds divine.Suggested use: Add a few drops while you fill the tub with luke warm water. The added burst of our invigorating Verdure scent packed with peppermint, patchouli and citrus essential oils will help you feel relaxed yet invigorated. Apply a generous amount of oil on damp skin after a bath or shower for luxurious moisturised baby soft skin. Use it as daily moisture for hair, skin and nails or as a pre-shampoo treatment for dry and damaged hair.Give it to your wife for a present and she will not be disappointed.

Gorgeous smell and easy dispensing and application due to consistancy of product and dispenser design..
I have said most in the heading but in detail, this container is a simple vessel (beautiful though) with no silly pump or spray to work out or tease into action. It simply works by tipping it onto your hand to let the product drip out. The oil is a wonderful scent and consistancy; not to thick nor strong in frangrance and smells really classy.I tried it on my skin and hair and recommend it for skin but not hair unless your hair is thick, as with mine it looked greasy instantly even with a light amount of product. My hair is fine so probably would be good for thick or afro type hair.

Rich, luxurious but easily absorbed great smelling versatile oil
This is a very luxurious and versatile oil and I love it.It is in a lovely glass bottle that you drip a few drops from. The oil goes a long way and is rich and so nourishing. I use a tiny amount on my face and my skin feels really supple and my makeup glides on. I put a lot on my body and it sinks in not leaving any tacky residue. I also use it on my hands and feet and it makes an incredible difference to my dry skin and cuticles. I haven't used it on my hair as I think it would make it greasy but perhaps a wee bit through dry ends would make a big difference to the condition. This oil smells lovely; it is very fresh. It makes a big difference to my skin and it is excellent value as you only need a tiny drop.I love it!
