Purchased for my grandchildren. The overall quality of the book and stuffed animal is great.The pictures do a great job of keeping the kids engaged. It is a simple read and interesting for them.Definitely recommend for a gift for birthday or special occasion.

I bought this set for my 4 year old niece and it was SUCH a hit! We read the book together, which includes beautiful, crisp illustrations and an easy to follow storyline (that she was super into), and THEN I shared the plushie with her! She was so happy that we had just read a story that features her new friend. The plushie is wonderful quality and feels like it will last.Highly recommend this set!

My 2.5yr old loves stuffed animals, unicorns, books & blue...so naturally I had to get this once I stumbled across it.She loves the new stuffed animal & I think it's adorable too. It's nice & soft, seems well made, fully stitched eyes (for those kiddos that like to put stuff in their mouths, that's a nice safety feature) & it's a good size for play.The book was ok. The storyline was simple enough & ok graphics. The color choices were a bit dull in comparison to the bazillion other kids books my toddler loves, so her attention was not grabbed as much as usual when we read books together.Also, the beginning of the story shows a kiwi tree & then further in the book they picture a guava tree & they look identical accept the fruit goes from brown to green. I forgot to take a picture of the kiwi tree page, but the guava one is pictured. They are literally identical which made it confusing. I mistakenly called the guava tree a kiwi tree when we were talking about the pictures before I read the corresponding page & then had to correct myself & look back to the first tree to make sure I wasn't losing it. I know it's not a huge thing, but feels like that could have been done better.Overall though, I do like the interactiveness of the story.**I received these through the Vine program free of charge in exchange for my honest opinion/review.There is a total product value claimed at the end of the year on taxes for items received through this program. Elmer the Elephant - Adventure in the Jungle book by Michael Leavitt is such a fun and interactive book. My 3 year old daughter really enjoyed the book and felt like she was part of the story. She was excited to help the other characters in the book solve problems. It's a great book to learn and discover new things. She is so engaged while reading the book. She learned new things from the book that she wanted to learn more about, so we went and researched more about it, and she's very interested. At the end of the book, we showed her the elephant stuffed toy named Elmer(included with the book), and she was so happy and excited. We handed her a little envelope, and we read it to her. She was so happy when she learned it was a letter from Elmer the Elephant. She was glad she was able to help a friend and she even said it's her new friend.High-quality stuffed animal and a good interactive book. We love it!

Really fun hunt and find book. Pico has to retrace her steps back to her family which involves finding where she traveled in the Panamanian rainforest. Kids will love spotting the places Pico passed through. I would highly recommend it’s going to be used at my wife’s preschool. Having the adorable stuffed animal to go with it is perfect to keep the kids highly engaged. Love it!!

My daughter loves this book. It is well written and colorful. She loves the cat that came with it. I highly recommend this book and will be purchasing more.
